Sie werden von einem professionellen Führer von Ihrem Hotel in Basov abgeholt und fahren zur spektakulärsten Straße Europas - Transfagarasan. Wir halten zuerst an und besuchen das Carta-Kloster, das im spätgotischen Stil von den Zisterziensermönchen erbaut wurde, die aus Burgund - Frankreich nach Siebenbürgen kamen. Der Transfagarasan Highway ist die spektakulärste und schönste Bergstraße in Europa, genug, um auf der britischen Motorshow Top Gear gezeigt zu werden. Der Transfagarasan Highway ist vielleicht „die beste Straße der Welt“, wie Top Gear-Moderator Jeremy Clarkson behauptete. Es ist eine Straße, die in die Berge hinaufführt und Siebenbürgen mit der Walachei verbindet. Tolle Szenen, laute Wasserfälle, der Glaciar Balea-See sorgen dafür, dass Sie sich dort oben großartig fühlen und den Stress der Stadt vergessen. Im Winter, zwischen November und Juli, fahren wir mit dem Van zum Hotel Balea Cascada 1446, von wo aus wir die Seilbahn nehmen (ab hier ist die Straße wegen Schnee gesperrt). Der Preis für die Seilbahn ist nicht inbegriffen.

Es ist ein eiszeitlicher Gletschersee, der auf einer Höhe von 2034 m im Berg Fagaras liegt. Umgeben von Bergen bietet sich ein wunderbarer Ausblick. Er hat eine maximale Tiefe von 11 m und seine Schalen können gesehen werden, wie man im Winter Forellen schwimmen kann In der Nähe des Sees bauen Sie ein Eishotel, eine Eiskirche und ein Iglu. Wir können sie besuchen und Räume und kühle Eisbetten ausprobieren.

- Zwischen dem 1. November und dem 1. Juli ist die Straße nach 1460 gesperrt. Hier im Hotel Balea Cascada werden wir unser Auto besteigen und dann die Seilbahn zum Balea-See nehmen. Die Tickets der Seilbahn sind nicht im Ticketpreis enthalten. Kosten von etwa 12 Euro nach oben und unten

Our guide did a great job explaining everything. He made sure we saw everything.
Our expectations were meet over and above what we imagined. The tour guide Daria was knowledgeable and expressed the relative information of our tour clearly and accurately while maintaining your interest at all times. The tour was great. The Transfagason Highway and mountain was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable and the car was very comfy. The cable car up to the mountain was not included in the price and it was a bit pricey but we enjoyed this tour. We also visited the monastery and the UNESCO Sighisoara town which we loved.

Excellent guide and driver,, clean and comfortable car, cable car fees not included and were surprisingly expensive. Overall enjoyable experience.

In the summer when the Transfagarasan is fully open there is no need to use the cable car, we go up to Balea Lake by car, and then we avoid paying for the cable car Best regards Traian B
