Die Vielfalt der Ziele auf dem Weg ist groß: Berglandschaften, Hügel, Wälder, traditionelle Dörfer, historische Überreste (Kloster Curtea de Arges, Zitadelle von Poienari), technische Innovationen (Vidraru-Wasserspeicher) und Transfagarasan. An der Spitze ist die Höhe des Weges etwas mehr als 2000 Meter und überquert die höchste Kette der Karpaten: die Fagaras-Berge.

Vielleicht die schönste Straße der Welt. Diese legendäre Straße wurde 1970 von Nicolae Ceausescu erbaut und überquert die Karpaten von Siebenbürgen nach Walachei.

Erbaut in '60 für Strom, Bewässerung und Hochwasserschutz, ist jetzt auch eine wichtige touristische Attraktion.
Diese Zitadelle wurde von Vlad dem Impaler - Dracula zur Verteidigung gegen das Osmanische Reich erbaut.
Das Grab wurde im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und im 19. Jahrhundert renoviert. Hier befindet sich das Grab der rumänischen Königsfamilie. Die Kirche ist eines der bekanntesten Architekturdenkmäler der Walachei.
Dieses Denkmal wurde in Erinnerung an die im Ersten Weltkrieg verstorbenen rumänischen Soldaten am Bran-Pass errichtet.

Florin was an excellent guide, we were picked up from the hotel on time and he showed us the beautiful places in Romania. We had enough time to collect enough photos and memories. It was an unforgettable experience to get to know the beauty of transfagarasan. Thank you for this great experience.
Our tour guide Florin picked us up on time at the agreed location. He explained to us in detail the course of the planned tour and also interesting story about Romania and the different cultures that make this beautiful country so diverse. We had many stops along the high road where we had time to run around and take photos. The sights selected by Florin were extremely interesting and he could tell a lot about them. Florin is a very safe and prudent rider, which made the tour very pleasant. The only trigger is the long construction site that winds along part of the way back. But scenically wonderful. Hence probably the long journey time. Summasumarum a great experience and highly recommended. You get to know this part of Romania quite well🥰 thank you for this experience, Florin!
Florin was a great guide and friend for the day. He picked us up on time and took us on the Transfargasaran Road. It was stunning. Once at the top there are street traders selling local goods and street food. Beautiful lake up there as well. We were lucky enough to see a young brown bear on the way down next to the road as well. Florin is a fantastic guide. I had a private tour with him and he allowed me to make changes and adapt the tour to my interests. Florin is an expert on the area, and at the start of the tour he showed me a map and pointed out my options so I could decide which stops would suit my needs best. He taught me a lot about the history and culture of Romania. Transylvania is so beautiful and unique! I only did a day trip with Florin but I recommend booking several days traveling around the area with Florin.

A fabulous day with a bit of everything! Interesting history, walking and stunning mountain scenery. Great spots from were to take photos of the Transfagaraşan. Having Florin's explanations and knowledge was incredibly valuable.
An unforgettable experience! Our guide was enthusiastic, was able to answer all of our questions and explained and showed us a lot of things clearly. Lots of stops to take plenty of photos and recharge our batteries. Fantastic views, even in our case despite the occasional rain. We would do it again anytime, it was one of the best days of our vacation in Romania.
Beautiful scenery and beautiful photos. However, our tour guide Florin did not provide much clarity in instructions and would often wait in his car for us or have us walk and then pick us up. At the beginning of the tour he went on an explanation about the waterfall for 10 minutes then told us he will wait for us here while we go look. This miscommunication resulted in him not being happy with us because we went further than he wanted us to and angrily said that we weren't supposed to do that and there's not enough time. This miscommunication occurred because he sent us off by ourselves while he stood in the parking lot on his phone. He should've been with us the entire time throughout the tour. As I wrote in a comment for a different tour with Florin, if you don't know what questions to ask then the car ride is going to be silent. There's no tour pitch about where we are going and the history. My group would try to ask questions and he wouldn't answer them completely. I recommend the tour only for it being an easy way to get around and see the main tourist spots.
I'm glad you liked the scenery. I waited for you in the car to take pictures along the road. At our first stop I showed you the hiking routes and the waterfall route, not 10 minutes but 30 minutes, written in English too. I told you to go IF you want alone a few minutes and I will wait for you there. You decided to go to the waterfall, waiting for you more than 1 hour, concerned what happened with you. I didn't stay in the parking lot on my phone (you couldn't know this, because you weren't there), I just concerning and asking me where you are. I was not with you the entire time of the tour because you decided to go alone in the forest. You don't seem interested too much in history, that's why I did not talk too much. You almost all the time were silent or sleeping. To be honest, I couldn't wait to finish the tour with you. Which not happen the next day, when your new colleague/friend women were very excited and interested, talking with her almost all the tour, asking and answering and in this time your sleeping or keeping silent. With her the tour for me was a pleasure. Not all of us are compatible! Not to mention that you were not in front of your accommodation at the start hour, I had to search and to find you inside the building, being in the city center and being very difficult to find a parking place.
This was the first time of my sister and me booking a private tour and our experience was really nice. It's cool there is a chance to go see the road with a tour because if you don't have a car it will become a problem. We want to thank Florin for taking good care of us during the trip. He told us a bit of history of Romania and the places we visited, took some photos for us and was very patient about our excitmenet. Also kudos to Florin for safe driving because we were a bit worried about the road. We definitely will recommend him for our friends if one day they decide to visit Romania!

Florin is an amazing guide and knew all the great spots for photos of the Transfagarasan. We are really glad we went with his suggestions and his timing was impeccable. We asked if we could make sure to be back in time for our train and he was very considerate of the time for each part of our journey so we could see literally everything AND be back for our train with enough time to spare! This tour is definitely worth doing rather than renting a car on your own. Having Florin's explanations and knowledge was incredibly valuable.
