Wir holen Sie von Ihrem Hotel ab und fahren zur Zitadelle für eine private Führung durch Salah al-Dins Fort aus dem 12. Jahrhundert : gebaut, um die Stadt gegen Kreuzfahrerangriffe zu verteidigen und Regierungssitz seit fast 700 Jahren. Besuchen Sie die Moschee von Muhammad Ali aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und genießen Sie von der Terrasse der Zitadelle einen Panoramablick auf die Stadt, gefolgt von einem Besuch des alten koptischen Viertels mit der Hängenden Kirche, der Kirche Sergius & Bachus und der Ben-Ezra-Synagoge (jüdischer Tempel), dann werden Sie zum Khan El Khalili, Kairos altem Basar, gebracht und besuchen Sie einen einzigartigen Teil des alten islamischen Kairo, die El Muizz Straße, die ein paar alte schöne Moscheen hat, und dann bringen wir Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel.

This a second day tour I did with Samir and Mohammad and it was incredible. They were flexible with the timing of the start and end date of the tour as my friend and I were meeting with our other friends that live in Egypt. Mohammed did a wonderful job explaining the history of the different locations and patiently answered all of our questions. He helped us find the best spot to snap photos and was an amazing photographer himself. Samir treated us to lunch at the best koshare restaurant in Cairo with a delicious dessert of rice pudding. When we mentioned we wanted to buy some gold jewellery and check out local markets, they took us to a trusted gold jewellery shop where we purchased gorgeous necklaces. Mohammed came with us to the market and waited while my friend tried out bargaining skills Egyptian style (based on coaching from both Mohammed and Samir). It was a perfect last day in Cairo and I recommend this tour to everyone!

This was a fantastic way to spend the day. Sylvia did an excellent job guiding us through the winding streets of Coptic Cairo and giving us insight into the history that could be found there. The Citadel is also an amazing structure with lots of history. A nice day spent exploring a different side of Cairo. Please inquire about all the little known places to see in Cairo. There’s much much more than pyramids, and Samir and his team can help you see them.
