Beschreibung

Wonderful dog hike experience.

This was amazing! I think it’s the best excursion we have ever done! Our guide Sirli was the best. The dogs are so friendly and beautiful! The wilderness we hiked in was breathtaking! Beautiful trees, very peaceful, away from the crowds. Sirli picked us up at the cruise port herself, drove through Tallin with commentary about the city. You should love dogs to do this excursion! We had a wonderful hike being pulled or guided along by our dog in harness. The forest was truly beautiful, after the hike we were able to play with the many husky and malamute dogs they have, inside their pens. The dogs were so happy to interact and play with us. We then were treated to homemade bread, cookies, honey and special healthy drinks. Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Please note you should be in good shape for this hike. Also wear hiking boots!

Amazing husky experience

The trip was the most amazing experience. The hosts were so friendly and informative. The kick ski were so much fun then we had the most wonderful sled ride followed by cuddles with the dogs. There was also marshmallows to toast on a fire pit and a photo opportunity with Thor who was the most beautiful malamute. Highly recommend this trip worth every euro.

10/10 Winter Wonderland Experience

Had such an amazing experience with my three friends. The family-owned business treat all the dogs like family and were so kind and welcoming. The sledding was one of the coolest things I have ever done, a the smores around the fire was so picturesque. Highly recommend doing this, worth every penny! Something I will remember forever.

Estonian Christmas Wonderland

Meriliis was phenomenal. The owners of the dog farm we're phenomenal...and the pups were incredible. So friendly, warm, loving and well behaved! Go see real Estonia, and "pet that dog". It was snowing all day, the hike was fabulous, Cippo and OJ are my boys! My wife had Leo and Reja who were so we'll behaved.

Not worth the price!

Very upset, angry and disappointed with this experience! Definitely NOT worth the money. For us, the main issue was the false advertising regarding the opportunities to cuddle the dogs. My boyfriend and I are travelling around Europe and wanted to go husky sledding. Many other companies offered longer and cheaper experiences, however, Prangli’s website states that they offer the chance to cuddle and pet the dogs during the experience. They even have pictures on their website showing customers in the dog pens and we were told by our driver Epp that this would be something we would get to do. As we are dog lovers, we thought that this opportunity to interact with the dogs would be worth the high price. We never got to cuddle the dogs. After the cart riding we were taken to the dog pens and were told about the dogs, but we never got to properly stroke them and instead had to poke our fingers through the bars. We didn’t go into the pens and no explanation was given as to why. We were then invited to have a singular photo with a 5 month old puppy called Maya. She was still training and therefore couldn’t sit still long enough to get proper photos or be stroked. The owner then announced that the tour was finished! To try and feel like I had had the experience I wanted I asked the lady to stroke the dogs, she then took one of them out of his pen and allowed us to stroke him as we walked the 50metres to the van. Therefore, our 4 hour experience consisted of: 2 hours driving, 10 mins on the dog cart, 50 mins waiting in a hut with some snacks and tea whilst others went on the cart, 2 mins having photos ‘with’ a dog, 5 mins trying to stroke the dogs through the kennel’s bars 5 mins properly stroking the dog at the end 45 mins of listening to the owner talk about the surrounding area, the Russians and their Orthodox Church, the barn in which photos are taken, outdoor frisbee and why it’s popular in Estonia and how the electricity in her house was done due to the wind. Whilst the snacks and tea were good, Epp (our driver) was lovely, the cart was fun and it was obvious that the owner loves her dogs, this was not the experience advertised. It was not the experience we wanted and it was not worth the €197 EACH price tag. It has not been a once in a lifetime experience. Instead we feel ripped off and wish we had used our money on other aspects of our trip. Really wanted to write a positive review about this :(

Antwort des Anbieters

Hello, again Naomi! As it appears, your disappointment is, quite unusually, so strong that the very same review is being posted across multiple sales platforms. Be that as it may, I would like to clarify an important point: the tour you are commenting under is not the tour you participated in. Cani-Cross Hiking is a different tour with a different concept. You took part in our dog sledding tour. And I will respond to the sledding tour experience that you had: We are genuinely sorry to hear that you left disappointed, as this was certainly not our intention. That said, we would like to clarify that the program itself was carried out exactly as described and planned. The dog sled/cart ride, visit to the kennels, time at the hut with snacks and tea, and interaction with the dogs were all part of the standard experience and took place as scheduled. The only part that did not meet your expectations was the length of cuddling time with the dogs, which we understand was especially important to you. In situations like this, we always encourage guests to express their wishes on the spot. As happened in your case, once you asked to interact more closely with the dogs, one of the dogs was immediately taken out of the pen so you could cuddle him. We are always happy to accommodate such requests when possible. Regarding the photos and videos used on our website and social media: these are taken over time, and under different circumstances. Every visit is unique, and every guest arrives with their own expectations. Sometimes guests are able to enter the kennel area, sometimes cuddling happens in the barn or near the campfire—this depends on timing, dog behavior, weather, and the flow of the day. There is no single, guaranteed setup for every visit. The dog chosen for photos is always selected randomly, and puppies are often picked simply because they tend to melt hearts the most. In this case, Maya was still in training, which naturally limits how long she can sit still, but she was chosen with good intentions. We truly appreciate your kind words about the snacks, the cart ride, our driver Epp, and the care and love the owner has for the dogs. While we regret that the experience did not fully match your expectations, we respectfully disagree that it was falsely advertised or not delivered as promised. Thank you again for your honest feedback—it helps us improve communication and ensure future guests know that open communication during the tour is key to shaping the experience to their wishes. I hope you have better experiences in the future and I wish you a very best new year!

GREAT time with the Huskies!!!!

It was absolutely an amazing time traveling to see the Huskies. Effortlessly picked up at our hotel in Tallinn and taken to a wonderful nature area. A great hike with the huskies complemented by a delightful Nature walk and experiencing the Estonian forest and countryside. The Huskies were patient and very easy to walk with. A total pleasure and definitely needs to be on your Estonia list!
