Diese Tour führt Sie zu versteckten Tempeln (nicht so touristische Orte), die nicht viele Menschen kennen, sodass Sie neue Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse über das Erbe in Yogyakarta sammeln. Während der Tour werden Sie von unserem englischsprachigen Fahrer begleitet und können auch als Reiseführer fungieren, sodass die Kommunikation ganz einfach ist. Der unterirdische Hindu-Tempel wurde im 9. Jahrhundert vom König Rakai Grung erbaut
Der buddhistische Tempel wurde im 9. Jahrhundert in der Zeit des alten Königreichs Mataram erbaut. Dieser Tempel wurde 1940 wiederentdeckt, als er eingestürzt und von der Erde bedeckt war.
Der Hindutempel wurde im 9. Jahrhundert erbaut. Er liegt auf einem Hügel (der höchste Tempel in Yogyakarta). Die Landschaft ist schön und von hier aus können wir die Stadt Yogyakarta sehen.
Der Barong-Tempel wurde vermutlich im 9. und 10. Jahrhundert n. Chr. als Relikt des Medang-Königreichs aus der Mataram-Zeit erbaut. Dieser Tempel wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in verfallenem Zustand wiederentdeckt, als ein Holländer eine Zuckerrohrplantage für den Bau einer Zuckerfabrik ausbaute. Der Name Barong wurde von den Menschen vergeben, weil sich in den Nischen des Tempelkörpers Ornamente befinden, die an Barongan erinnern, ein mystisches Wesen aus der javanischen Mythologie.
Der buddhistische Tempel wurde zwischen 842 und 850 n. Chr. erbaut. Ein charakteristisches Merkmal dieses Tempels sind die rund 20 Reliefs am Fuße des Tempels, die von buddhistischen moralischen Lehrwerten erzählen, die auch heute noch relevant sind.
Die Kombination aus hinduistischem und buddhistischem Tempel an einem Ort. Als Symbol der Harmonisierung und guten Toleranz seit langem. Dieser Tempel stellt auch eine Verbindung zwischen Prambanan und dem buddhistischen Tempel dar.

I strongly recommend this tour! We did it one day before Borobudur and Prambanan because we wanted to see more temples. We enjoyed it a lot, our guide Wardo was kind and attentive. Alga Lova Tours recommended us to include a bike tour, it was extra cost but so worth it. It was lovely to bike around a small village near the temples and see the plantations. We had another guide Salwa for this who was super nice and knowledgeable about the village, plantations and the temples. I recommend considering this tour for your trip to Yogyakarta.

I highly recommend this tour for those travelers with a passion for architecture and archeology who want to go a little off the beaten path. We had pretty much every temple we visited to ourselves, and they were each distinct, atmospheric, and fascinating. Bagus was an excellent guide, who also arranged for us to have a delicious lunch and incorporate Prambanan itself as the capstone of our visit.

This was a great all-day tour exploring many different temples in the general vicinity of Prambanan. Each temple seemed bigger, grander, or otherwise more impressive than the last. We had several of them all to ourselves. At our request, the company customized the tour to add a stop at Prambanan itself. Our guide, Bagus, was very friendly and knowledgeable and adapted well to our preferences. We were taken to a very nice restaurant for lunch (an extra expense) and an interesting coffee bar after the last temple visit (another extra expense). We were also connected with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide at Prambanan, which did not allow outside guides. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see more temples than just the “big one” of Prambanan—which was, indeed, magnificent.
