Reiseverlauf

Great guides and very safe drivers with comfortable autos. Both time we were met on time at Cusco airport and hotel
You HAVE to choose these folks! They picked us up from the Cusco airport right on time, and from then on we were family and they handled everything! Because of our tour guide Willy we did not have to think or plan in a new country where we did not know the language, not to mention altitude sickness. Before we got to Cusco we were told exactly who the guide would be and what sign he would be carrying, but they already had another person waiting for us at baggage claim as well who helped us with all our luggage and led us straight to Willy. Willy handled everything 110%. On the first day Edwin with his expert driving skills took us to Pisac, Moray and the Maras salt mines, not to mention a restaurant with the best ceviche and causa and trout. They also helped us with our altitude sickness and adjusted the plan to accommodate the fact that we really couldn’t walk too much because of the altitude (we are generally fit). The second day they picked us up from Ollantaytambo and also took us to Chinchero. By the end we were family. Many thanks to Willy and Edwin and Come see Peru. It was the perfect introduction to the Incas ways due to Willy’s extensive historical and contemporary knowledge.
The tour with Carlos and (driver) Alex was absolutely wonderful. We covered so much in a short time but never felt rushed. Alex was an excellent driver. Carlos was very knowledgeable. He shared personal stories that related to various stops. He also walked at our pace. We never felt pressure to buy anything. Everyone was just welcoming. It was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to anyone.
We booked a half day tour with direct pick up from the airport in Cusco to Ollyantaytambo. We didn’t know what to expect, and were absolutely blown away by the rich history and thorough guide Willy. We learned about the history, culture, and lifestyle of modern day Peruvians and their ancestors of Incan times. We are so grateful for the patience of Willy and accompanied driver from the airport to each stop we took, as it was our first time in Peru and we had a lot of questions and comments. Willy is a knowledgeable, humble, kind, and exciting tour guide. Well worth our money for this amazing private tour. We will never forget our first experience in Peru!
Wow what an incredible day we had today with Bernabe! From the opening snack of Pan Chuta on the road over, to the lovely farm and people in Chincero, the beautiful views at Moray, and rounding out with the surprisingly interesting pools in the salt mines. Beenabes’s guidance and knowledge throughout each stop was an invaluable addition. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide specifically. Driver was amazing as well, just a really well done experience that’s not too long.
From the beginning of our enquiries Julio was informative and flexible. Once we arrived in Cusco arrangements were executed as planned, and our guide Ruben was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and passionate about each of the attractions that we visited and was very patient with our group of 9! The sacred Valley tour was amazing and Ruben went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the whole tour. We then went to Machu Pich and once again Ruben was able to tell us the stories that bring that magical place alive. We had 3 days and 2 nights Our driver Renee, and Ruben then negotiated the Christmas Day traffic and got us safely back to Cuzco. All in all a great trip and I am happy to recommend ComeSeePeru tours!
From the start of organising our trip Julio was very informative and flexible to adapt to the requirements of our group of 9 people. We were picked up in Cusco and took the sacred valley tour and were dropped at our hotel in Ollantaytambo. Our guide Ruben was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us about all the places we visited. We then took the train to Aqua Calientes, and visited the hot springs. Ruben picked us up the next day and took us up Machu Pichu and gave us a tour of that magical place. We got the train back to Ollantaytambo and then our driver Renee, and Ruben, navigated the Christmas Day traffic and got us safely back to our accommodation in Cusco. A fabulous 3 days. Highly recommend this company.
Our Sacred Valley, Moray Ruins and Maras Salt Mines tour was fantastic! Bernabé was an outstanding guide! He is knowledgeable, patient and passionate! And Jesus was a safe and reliable driver throughout the day. The views were incredible and the experience felt smooth and well-organized! I highly recommend this tour with them!
Our guide was absolutely amazing knowledgeable, passionate, and deeply connected to the history and culture of Ollantaytambo. He didn’t just show us the archaeological site, he brought it to life with stories about the Inca civilization, local traditions, and the people who still call this area home. We especially appreciated how the tour went beyond the main ruins and was able to explore hidden corners of the town, learned about everyday life, and even met some locals.
We chose Come see Peru based on the great reviews and we were very pleased with our choice. Willy is such a great guide: informative, funny. We learned so much about the Inca culture and the hard work and commitment of the communities of today. We visited the Maras salt mines, Ollantaytambo ruins, Pisac ruins and market and an alpaca farm and shop. We had the best lunch based on Willy’s recommendations.
