Die Cueva de los Verdes ist eine einzigartige Felsformation mit landschaftlichen und vulkanologischen Merkmalen von außergewöhnlichem Wert. Los Jameos del Agua ist das erste Kunst-, Kultur- und Tourismuszentrum, das von César Manrique geschaffen wurde, ein Naturraum, der in einem Vulkantunnel entstand. Der 1968 eingeweihte Künstler, Maler und Bildhauer verwandelte den Raum und schuf ein weltweit einzigartiges Werk, das den maximalen Ausdruck seiner Ideologie darstellt: künstlerisches Schaffen im Einklang mit Umwelt und Natur.

In Haría liegt es im bezaubernden „Tal der tausend Palmen“, einem der besten einheimischen Palmenhaine der Kanarischen Inseln. Wenn die Straße in die Berge eindringt, erscheint diese Oase inmitten der reinen Geologie der Insel: grüne Ländereien und Felder, gesprenkelt mit dem Weiß der populären Architektur der Insel.
Im geografischen Zentrum von Lanzarote, in der Gemeinde San Bartolomé, befindet sich das Casa-Museo del Campesino, das Werk, mit dem César Manrique die Bemühungen der Bauern von Lanzarote würdigt. Vom Bus aus sehen wir das Fruchtbarkeitsdenkmal, auch Bauerndenkmal genannt. Es ist eine Konstruktion von mehr als 15 Metern, die von César Manrique zusammen mit dem Meister Jesús Soto aus alten Bootswassertanks, zusammengesetzten Eisen- und Betonobjekten geschaffen wurde, eine großartige Reflexion der Avantgarde-Kunst, die zu einem der ikonografischen geworden ist Symbole der Insel.
La Geria ist ein besonderes Gebiet der Insel Lanzarote, in dem es viele Weinbergplantagen gibt. Mit einer vulkanischen Landschaft und einem trockenen Land ist die Qualität seiner Weine überraschend. Das Vorhandensein von Weinbergen auf einem solchen Land ist ungewöhnlich. Wir werden bei einem Weingut anhalten, um eine kleine Weinprobe zu machen.
Am Kamelstand kann jeder, der möchte, einen 20-minütigen Ritt auf dem Rücken dieses kostbaren Tieres unternehmen. Wer es nicht möchte, kann auf der Insel Lanzarote ein kleines Museum über die Geschichte der Kamele besuchen
Die Montañas del Fuego sind das ungewöhnliche Ergebnis der Eruptionen im Süden von Lanzarote im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert. Ein ganzes Schauspiel aus roten Kratern, Lavaströmen und Mondlandschaften, die das Verbrennen der Erde und ihre unkontrollierbare Kraft widerspiegeln. Seine 200 Kilometer lange Ausdehnung sind Teil des Timanfaya-Nationalparks, in dem eine der größten Vulkanaktivitäten der Welt zu sehen ist, sowohl aufgrund der immensen Menge an Material, die durch das Feuer geschleudert wird, als auch aufgrund seiner spektakulären Dauer: sechs Jahre dazwischen 1730 und 1736, wo die Eingeweide der Insel nicht aufhörten zu brüllen.
Dieser grüne See im Krater eines Vulkans ist zu einer der wichtigsten Touristenattraktionen auf Lanzarote geworden.

Our visit to Lanzarote was Short but Sweet. Since we were only there a few days We wanted to make the most of our time there therefore we booked onto this full day experience with Lanzarote Guides to see the island and its history - which was such a good decision! Communication prior to the trip was great. We were messaged 2 days before hand how, where, what time we were going to be picked up, what we might need. And a photo of the bus! On the day we were picked up around 7:30 (we were first pick up which meant we got the best seats- two front seats on a double decker sight seeing coach) Super comfy! We then went around playa Blanca to pick up the rest of the passengers, after that we headed straight up to Cuevas de los verdes, Jameos del Agua and Mirador De Guinate. After that we stopped in Haría for lunch which was very tasty €12 pp buffet with water and wine. We then got back on the coach and were encouraged a Siesta as the next stop was about a 40 minute drive which I definitely took the opportunity for! We made our way to La Geria which was a small winery where we had a small tasting - you are given an option of dry or sweet and the sweet tasted like pure honey ❤️ After that we had a camel ride (optional for €11pp) we took the opportunity, small ride with a quick stop for a photo, all the camels have names - Alberto carried us 🐫 very good boy! If you chose not to ride the camel you could have a look at the history of camel museum. It was only a 20 minute stop here. After that we headed for the big event - Timanfaya! This was so exciting - we got to touch hot rocks, see Hay turned into fire just by putting it in a hole and of-course the geyser! There was a natural BBQ where food was roasted on heat from the volcano! And then a bus ride around the volcanic lands. Last stop was El Lago Verde and then we all got dropped off back at our pick up points. We were back at our hotel for around 17:30 We had the best time, our guide Vanessa was very informative throughout the journey, she kept changing between Spanish and English as we had a mixed group, it was very nice to learn some Spanish words. She was very funny and entertaining! Our Driver was Manolo and big round of applause to him for driving us around ALL DAY especially around Timanfaya! Few tips - wear comfy shoes, don’t over pack, you literally won’t need anything other than a phone maybe a power bank and a bottle of water, if you are wearing a hat make sure it’s a quite tight one - gets very windy!

The excursion is very complete, in one day you see the highlights of the Island and, taking into account what the tickets for each site cost, the price you pay is reasonable. If I have to find a fault, it's the place where they take you to eat; although you are not obligated to eat there, there is also no place nearby where the bus drops you off and you have little time, so it's better to bring a sandwich.
This was easily one of the best tours we’ve ever joined in Spain. Our guide was absolutely outstanding. Managing a group of more than 70 people for over 10 hours is no easy task, but she handled everything effortlessly with professionalism, warmth, and incredible organization. Her knowledge of Lanzarote’s volcanic history, geology, and local culture made every stop fascinating. She also surprised us throughout the day with little stories and hidden highlights that made the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to our driver as well. Driving such a huge coach through the narrow, winding roads of Timanfaya National Park requires exceptional skill, and he made it look effortless. Even better, he thoughtfully stopped at several of the best viewpoints, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos of the breathtaking volcanic landscapes. The scenery was unlike anything we’ve ever seen—raw, dramatic, and almost otherworldly. Thanks to our guide and driver, we were able to experience the volcanoes from perspectives we would never have discovered on our own. A perfect combination of professionalism, passion, and outstanding service. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Lanzarote. Five stars without hesitation!
It is an excellent tour to see the vast majority of things to see on Lanzarote in a single day. The only downside for us was the bus driver who scared us in Timanfaya park because he stalled twice, which made us afraid during this visit.

Very, very, very highly recommended. A way to visit the essentials of the island of Lanzarote, with transportation included. They picked up in Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, and Costa Teguise. In addition to the good explanations from Vanessa, who was very kind and attentive, the skill of the driver, Alfonso, is also worth mentioning. It costs about €100, but we must keep in mind that the caves (Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua, for me more passable, but since you are going to Lanzarote...) cost €17 each if you go there by car (and some tickets, if not purchased online, can no longer be bought right there) and the visit to Timanfaya National Park is €30. The Route of the Volcanoes is done on a mandatory guided tour from the bus, in the same way it would be done if we went there on our own. It is worth it for the landscapes. Option to take a camel ride for 11€ for a 20 min ride (very skippable, poor critters). They also took us to the Mirador del Río (to see La Graciosa right in front), to a small winery in La Geria to taste the sweet wine (muscatel) or the dry wine from the area, and to the Green Lagoon, truly green. We stopped to eat at Los Cascajos, in Haría (valley of the palm trees), not being included, and costing 12€ for adults and 9€ for children. Buffet-style meal, with water, wine and ice cream, to spend the day. A good option to visit the must-sees of the island at the hands of authentic locals.
Wow what an amazing experience this was. Me and my partner usually come away to relax but we wanted to see what Lanzarote had to offer apart from the beautiful weather as we were here for longer than usual. We had plenty of stops and they weren’t too long either which was perfect. It was just over a nine hour day, but it went by quickly and was incredibly enjoyable. Our tour guide was lovely and the bus driver was brilliant navigating through all the tight roads! Highly highly recommend this trip!!
