Galatina, ein wahres Juwel der Kunst, Geschichte und Traditionen. Bekannt ist sie vor allem für die grandiosen Fresken der Giotto-Schule in der Basilika von S. Caterina d'Alessandria, die in Italien nach der von S. Francesco in Assisi die zweitgrößte malerische Erweiterung darstellt. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind die Mutterkirche SS. Peter und Paul und die Häuser und Gebäude der Altstadt.
Otranto, eines der schönsten Küstendörfer des Salento. Es ist eine Stadt voller Geschichte und jede Ecke zeigt den Durchgang verschiedener Zivilisationen, darunter die Römer, die Byzantiner, die Osmanen und die Aragonesen. Sie haben Zeit zur freien Verfügung, um die prächtige Kathedrale, die byzantinische Basilika San Pietro, das Schloss Aragonese, die Türme, die imposanten pelasgischen Stadtmauern und die Mauern zu besuchen, die die Stadt umgeben.

Gallipoli, gilt als die Perle des Ionischen Meeres. Diese Stadt, griechischen Ursprungs, lassen sich in zwei Bereiche unterteilen: das neue Dorf, wo die touristischen Einrichtungen und modernen Gebäuden stehen, und die alte Stadt, die auf einer kleinen Insel mit dem Festland durch eine 17. Jahrhundert Brücke befindet.. Sie haben Zeit, das historische Zentrum zu bewundern, das von engen und verwinkelten Gassen geprägt ist, in denen es von Kunsthandwerksläden, alten Palästen und barocken Kirchen wimmelt. Verpassen Sie nicht die Kathedrale Sant 'Agata, das prächtige Schloss Anjou aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und den griechischen Brunnen, einen der ältesten Italiens.

The whole trip was great and the guide Stefano made the day the best. Told very interesting things during the trip and gave tips. I recommend this tour.
We loved this tour! Stefano is an exceptional guide, attentive, interesting, and he does everything for our well-being. The van was comfortable, there were 7 of us plus the guide, and we loved our group. This is a flyover of certain cities; it makes you want to go back to get to know them better. Don't hesitate to book if you want a great experience!
Had the BEST trip with Stefano!! There were only three of us which was so personalized. Stefano gave us so many facts and history about the region we felt it was worth every penny. What a great way to fast-tract the provence!!! We lived in Germany for two years so we don’t go to a lot of churches but the ones Stefano took us to were outstanding. I finally understood the history between the Greeks, Romans, Spaniards, and Ottomans. Thanks so much Stefano!
Excellent trip seeing the 4 towns plus extra stops at viewpoints and other small towns. The view travelling down the coast was amazing too. Stefano our guide went above and beyond answering any questions and giving history and information of the area and stops made, he made the trip interesting too. Totally worth the price paid, with only 6 in our minivan it felt very relaxed . Thank you again Stefano.
If you are in Lecce and you want to discover the local area then this trip is a must. Stefano the driver was both friendly and informative. He went out of his way to pick us up close to our accommodation and ensured that drop off and pick up points were close to local attractions. This was greatly appreciated as the temperature was in the high 30’s. The 4 towns we visited were very different and Stefano engaged us with his knowledge of the history of each and the local people. There were lots of photo opportunities and a chance to dip your toes into the soft sandy beaches. He even advised us where to eat and they did not disappoint. A truly memorable day. Fantastic days tour with an excellent, personable guide with great English and fascinating knowledge. This is a relaxing and perfect way to see some of the best sites in Southern Puglia. The restaurant recommendation for lunch was also wonderful. I got to swim in the Adriatic and Ionian sea. We saw beautiful coastal towns and memorable churches snd squares. A highlight of our trip here. Stefano- you are a top guide!

Excellent way to see the entire southern area of Salento. Four main stops with plenty of time to get a feel for each area. Some in our group even had a chance to swim in both the Adriatic and Ionian Seas! Our driver and guide Stefano was fabulous! Full of information and great personality as well. One thing I really appreciated was he pointed out about three different place to get lunch, and then just left everyone to make their own decision. Been on too many tours where they funnel everyone into a designated place. This was so much better. I would highly recommend this tour if you have just a short time in Lecce and would like to see more of the region. Thanks again to Stefano!
This was a great way to see the entirety of the Salento region. The stops were very interesting and well timed - a full day trip but with 4 main city stops and a couple picture spots as well. Stefano was an amazing guide, providing lots of information about each city. You could see how proud he is of the place he has grown up in. Thanks again to Stefano and I would highly recommend this tour.
