Tour Ätna und Weinprobe

This tour was amazing and Luca, our guide, was incredible. He explained what we could expect for the day, was so knowledgeable about the volcano and history and he was really kind and helpful with my fear of heights/hiking. This tour was the highlight of our trip and Luca made it an engaging, interesting and unforgettable experience. If you like a little adventure, a lot of knowledge, making friends and enjoying some yummy local treats and wine, this is the perfect tour!

Our tour guide Gianni was wonderful and so very sweet and kind! Just a gem! He was extremely helpful with physical limitations, and was a true gentleman with not only helping me walk down the steep terrain of Etna, but also helping someone who fell in our group as well. Would highly recommend him!

Lucas was an amazing guide and we had a fantastic time. The gambino winery was also able to accommodate Celiac with a gluten free meal. The tour was beautiful.

He knew a lot to tell about Etna, the area, and the history, which made the tour not only beautiful to see but also very interesting. The combination of Etna, the walk, and the delicious lunch with wine tasting made it complete. Lucas created a cozy atmosphere and clearly enjoyed what he was doing. We had an amazing guide Luca, he made the tour very enjoyable, he was very knowledgeable & easy to interact with, he also spoke very well English, Etna was wonderful as usual, an easy walk up the hill to see her, a quick ride to the Grotta delle Neve, followed by a lovely lunch paired with the wines of the winery. Our tour guide and driver Gianni was amazing. He was professional, and knowledgeable about Etna. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Etna and enjoy a nice glass of wine at the end.

This tour was one of the best we've done and we've done quite a few. I don't normally do reviews, but felt this was exceptional. In spite of a little bit of rain, still very much worth it! We felt that Our safety and comfort was top priority. We were provided with walking sticks and helmets when needed as well as jackets for those who needed one, as it was a bit chilly at the higher altitude. Our guide, Lucas was very personable, knowledgeable and was the best driver!

What an experience. Lucca, our guide, was terrific. He spewed so much interesting knowledge about the mountain, its history and the surrounding area. So much was learned. The hike was a bit tough in a few places, but well worth it. Going into the caves—another new experience. Thank you, Lucca, for a wonderful hike and taking us to the Gambino Winery for lunch and a tasting. Yummy food—amazing wines! Great day!
