We had 2 great days in Puno. First day we have visited the Inca Tombs in an incredible scenery. Many thanks to our tour guide Hugo, who shown extensive knowledge and patience answer our questions. Second day we took a private boat tour on lake Titicaca with stops in Uros and Taquile. Our guide Angelica was amazing with her vast knowledge on history and culture and lots of patience with our slow walking. The lunch provided was excellent sized and tasted very good, giving us the chance to try local cuisine. All in all the Agency is doing an excellent job and we will recommend the services to our friends back home
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We're thrilled to hear you had two memorable days in Puno and enjoyed both the Inca Tombs and the private boat tour on Lake Titicaca. We're incredibly proud to have guides like Hugo and Angelica on our team; their knowledge and patience are truly remarkable. It’s great to know that the local cuisine and overall experience met your expectations. We appreciate your kind words and your recommendation to friends back home—thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
The lake is beautiful, the islands unique. Uros is so incredible! Hard to imagine to live in a place like that. Make you admire human resilience. A wonderful experience! I highly recommend. Thanks Samuel (our guide)!
Very nice landscapes an unforgettable experience on the islands and guides with a lot of knowledge. The people of the islands were very friendly. Sillustani also very interesting
This was an amazing experience! We especially enjoyed the home stay portion where we were placed with a local family, who greeted us at the dock, cooked lunch, dinner and breakfast for us (!all delicious), came with us as we hiked to the top of the island for sunset, dressed us up in local dress for the dance that night, which was a colourful affair complete with a live local band. The whole community came out and danced with all the tourists. It was wonderful. I would highly recommend this tour. And a shout out to our guide Richard, who led the “happiest group.” He was outstanding.
Thanks so much for visit to the Lake Titicaca. Kind regards - Inca Lake
We booked this (truth be told I don't remember visiting Sillustani so it may have been a different 2D1N but very similar) trip through Peru Hop while staying in Cusco. The tour was staged and very much a cash grab (aggressive expectations of tipping and buying weirs and every turn)- when I tried to look at a different blanket of items on Uros the purveyor pulled me back to her blanket. On Amantani Island, if you don't speak Spanish it will be an awkward silent home visit. The fact that the government mandates families to host visitors is strange; I am not convinced that the families love the experience. Taquille Island, on day 2 was truly gorgeous (as was the entire lake). Here I felt like the islanders went about their business and we were visitors exploring and observing and spending money as desired. Lake Titicaca is worth visiting but I didn't love the vibe of the tour.
Thank you very much for your comment, mention that you are not required to buy the services or products outside your reservation with the agency. We appreciate your visit to Lake Titicaca.
The experience you get from staying one night on the island of Amantani, without a doubt is unique, this visit invites you to experience culture, gastronomy and nature in all its glory, but the best of all is the warmth provided by the families with whom you stay.... A 1000% recommended adventure if you want to live this beautiful country more closely.
