Tour nach Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo und Furnas

Brilliant trip with a fantastic guide. Enjoyed our day out and lunch very much. Arturs took us and was very informative with local knowledge.

This was the most amazing way to see the island! Highly recommend you do it at the beginning of your trip and Arthur was a spectacular, friendly and knowledgeable guide. He’s very passionate about his home and he was so kind and sharing extra tips. Arthur took us to the best spots to see all the beautiful places! We loved his company sense of humor and most of all honesty! He is very kind and took care of his tour gusts with honor. We saw so many beautiful picture perfect spots in Azores thanks to Arthur.

While walking along the boulevard in Ponta Delgada we were approached by a man who told us that he gives tours of the island. He introduced himself neatly as Artur on which we also introduced ourselves. After he explained to us what the tours represented, our interest was aroused and we immediately booked a tour. Our choice fell on the tour with Cita Citades and Artur picked us up at our hotel at the agreed time. First Artur showed us some of the immediate surroundings of the hotel and then started the tour. What a very beautiful route this was. Beautiful views and sights. Artur has a lot of knowledge of the island and knew a lot to tell us. You can tell that he is very proud of his island and is happy to tell you everything. Even if you have questions, he can answer them well. He takes his time for you and you really feel like a guest, he is also a nice conversation partner with a good mood and a nice sense of humor. The lunch included in the tour was excellently arranged and has an extensive choice of local dishes. We liked the tour so much that we booked the northeast tour for later in the week. This tour was also excellently arranged with a visit to the tea plantation, some beautiful views and waterfalls culminating in lunch in Furnas where you will eat the dish Cozido das Furnas. Rarely have we eaten something so delicious. Meat, so tender and so full of flavor. Highly recommended. After lunch we saw the geysers which is also very impressive. In short, we had a great time and I would really recommend you to book a tour with Artur, you will not regret it. And Artur, if you are reading this I want to thank you again for the great experience you gave us.

Arturo was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Extremely nice and was a great tour guide. He was happy to take pics if requested by the guests and even stop at very scenic locations.

I traveled with my wife and 20 month old daughter. We had a wonderful time with Artur. He took us all over the island. We stopped for a famous quijada de Villa Franca do Campo. The lunch was a generous portion and very good. We’ve already recommended him to a few of our friends that are planning a vacation to the Azores.

It was a great tour! Super informative and gave a great overview of the island. The only thing I could have done without was the last lake we went to at the end of the tour, supposedly it is not really visible for most of the year, so maybe that portion should be cut from the tour? Otherwise it was fantastic I would highly recommend!
