Mein Angebot ist einzigartig, denn es handelt sich um eine Tour, bei der wir an jedem Ort nur kurz Halt machen, um auf dynamische und unterhaltsame Weise die wichtigsten Aspekte kennenzulernen und dabei die Süßspeise „Ñeque“, den traditionellen Rum sowie die köstlichen Spezialitäten von Palenque zu probieren. Wir laden Sie ein, eine Stadt zu entdecken, die seit mehr als 400 Jahren ihre unverwechselbare Identität bewahrt hat: das kleine Stück Afrika in Kolumbien. Hier ist die Zeit, die man benötigt, um von einem Ort zum anderen zu gelangen Sie werden etwas über die Geschichte der ersten freien Menschen Amerikas erfahren. Du wirst eine Verbindung zu den Vorfahren und den afrikanischen Wurzeln von Palenque de Benkos Biohó (Gründer von Palenque) herstellen. Genieße die Tanzvorführung, lerne die traditionellen Tanzschritte und spiele auf den Trommeln. Lernen Sie die Bantu-Sprache aus Guinea und dem Kongo in Begleitung eines einheimischen Führers. Wir machen Halt am Stadtplatz, beim Haus von „Kombilesa mi“ – der folkloristischen Rap-Gruppe –, beim Museumshaus, am Palenque Viejo und bei der traditionellen Medizin. Zum Abschluss essen wir ein köstliches, typisches Gericht aus Palenque zu Mittag.

Abholorte & -zeiten
Die Abholung der Gäste, die in der Altstadt übernachten, erfolgt um 8:00 Uhr am Uhrturm; für Gäste, die in den Stadtvierteln Bocagrande, Castillo Grande und Laguito erfolgt die Abholung zwischen 8:20 Uhr und 8:45 Uhr; für Gäste, die in den Stadtteilen Marbella, Cabrero, Crespo und Cielo Mar oder in einem Hotel im Norden und in Sea Apple übernachten, erfolgt die Abholung von 8:50 Uhr bis 9:30 Uhr. Gäste, die in Manga übernachten, müssen um 8:00 Uhr am Uhrenturm sein. Gäste der Hotels in Manzanillo del Mar werden um 8:30 Uhr mit einem Auto abgeholt, das sie aus dem Ort herausfährt und nach Cartagena bringt, wo sie vom Reiseleiter empfangen werden. Wir bieten keine Abholung von Hotels in Barú oder außerhalb von Cartagena an.

I loved everything about this tour. From the history to the food, everything was amazing. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it !
This was a nice experience, from Romero our tour guide to the welcome dance from the Palenque residents to the lunch (so good!) I would say be sure to bring cash/pesos along with you to tip dancers or if you’re wanting to buy street drinks/food. We went to the city’s wellness center which was really nice except when it came time for a ritual on bracelets (I’m a Christian and chose not to partake) but other than that the people there and the culture/experience was really nice
This is a must if you’re visiting Cartagena. The community of Palenque is beautiful and the residents are friendly and welcoming. We stopped at several places and learned a lot of about their history. The food was amazing as well. 10/10, I’ll do it again.
The experience was great. Romeo was a great guide. Entertaining and hospitable. The lunch was delicious. The only hump to get over was the heat. I was sweating like crazy. Nevertheless, it was worth it.

This experience was amazing. As a Jamaican- American, I saw and learned many parallels to my culture. Everything shown to us embodied the heart and spirit of the people from the 1st free black town in the Americas.
What an amazing day learning about this amazing place and it's history. I would tell anyone that if time is short do this trip. It's also an opportunity to have your picture taken with the Palenquera women without the stress of haggling in the walled city. The lunch was amazing too. Thanks to Romero for a great day.
The experience was amazing. Romeo was a thorough and thoughtful guide. Everyone made us feel welcome and we learned so much about the beautiful history of Palenque. The tour was a mix of upbeat, fun moments like dancing class and photos with adequate time spent on the deep roots and history of the city. We saw lots of beautiful murals including the most popular, I Love Being Black, mural. The only caveat I would keep in mind is if you are staying outside of the walled city, there is no hotel pick up regardless of what your reservation might say.
The experience was fun! Great translations and food. I felt close to the culture. The hosts are very funny too. Definitely would do this again.
