Der Wat Koh Siray Temple liegt auf einem Hügel auf der Insel Siray und bietet einen beeindruckenden Blick auf das Meer und die Insel über die Sapam Bay und das Kap Tukkae sowie die Stadt Phuket. Die Treppe führt hinauf in die Ordinationshalle der Nakas-Architektur, in der sich ein goldener Buddha befindet, der über 18 Meter lang ist. Nicht zu versäumen ist auch die riesige, atemberaubende, goldene Kyaiktiyo-Pagode.
Der Phuket Heritage Trail beginnt an der Phang-Nga-Straße in der Nähe der Alten Polizeistation. Auf dem Weg begegnen wir Kunstgalerien, Cafés und authentischen Geschäften. Der nächste Anblick, den Sie erkunden werden, ist der Downtown Fresh Market, der billigste Ort, an dem Sie eine Auswahl an tollen Früchten wie saftige Mangos oder exotische Sapodilla erhalten.
Danach geht es weiter zur Thalang Road, wo jeden Sonntag ein Straßenmarkt mit den besten Waren der Altstadt zu finden ist. Lokale Snacks und Kunstgegenstände sowie alle Arten von Souvenirs finden Sie entlang der Straße. In der Altstadt, vor allem in der Thalang Road, befinden sich noch immer die alten Ladenlokale.
Wir besuchen Soi Romanee, das in der Vergangenheit die gleiche Vergnügungszone wie die Bangla Road in Patong war und eine einzigartige farbenfrohe sino-portugiesische Architektur bietet.

Great tour and guide was friendly
Great trip. Fantastic guide called Nim. Good value. Loved the street market 😍. So interesting to see different areas within Phuket. Fully recommend 👍
Absolutely amazing experience! Nim was a lot of fun, and made us all feel welcome right away with her quirky humour. We visited a temple, fed monkeys by the roadside, then went to the Sunday markets in Old Phuket. Nim bought us street food to taste, showed us around the market and let us do our own shopping for an hour or so. I told her I was interested in the architecture and history so she told me about all the significant buildings we passed. After the market, the group went to dinner at a restaurant high up in the hills with panoramic views. As a solo traveller, I had a great time meeting the other participants too, and we all appreciated Nim’s guidance and fun spirit. The organisers communicated via WhatsApp to arrange transfer to/from my hotel… it was all seamless. Best part of my trip! Thanks xx
Right from meeting Nim this was a fun and informative tour. Everything was great, but wear socks when you visit the Reclining Buddha. I loved the food tasting in the market, walking through Old Phuket and the dinner topped off a great afternoon.
<p>We have been to Phuket many many times so was looking for something different to do. Our guide Nuya drove 5 of us to a temple on a hill with amazing views of Phuket. Following that we went to an area where monkeys live in the mangroves where there's a small area across from those mangroves the monkeys will come to so the public can feed them. We then went to a 24 hour fruit and vegie market where our guide told us about the different types of foods and bought quite a few different things for all of us to try. We then did a walking tour of Phuket town and ended up in a very large street market with the road closed so there were heaps of stalls selling all types of things.We had about 45 minutes free time to explore the market. Our guide bought a couple of other foods for us to try. After walking back to the car we were then driven up to a very high hill or mountain with a Restaurant with beautiful views of eastern Phuket. We then had a 3 course meal with a drink. All this was included in the price. I am so pleased I did this tour. It's great value and I highly recommend it.</p>
