Top End Safari Camp Tagestour

In one day we checked so many things off our Wishlist of wildlife, sites and experiences we hoped to have while visiting NT from Texas! From pickup to drop off, we would not change a single thing. With the exception that I would have made sure we had the time to stay overnight at Camp. We did not want the day to end when we left and the accommodations appeared just as good as any hotel in town! Communication with booking, confirmation of what to expect/be prepared for and pickup (prior to the day of), etc was exceptional. The tour description on the Top End site is what was delivered. The price was extremely reasonable for all the activities and the smaller group (15-ish) was perfect size for ample space and site seeing. From visiting and watching the crocodiles be fed, to the heli flight, airboat and more relaxing billabong cruise, we were informed how keep ourselves safe while getting the most enjoyment out of each experience. No other tour I found could offer so much diversity in just one day. They also have a handy pub you can purchase beer/wine from if you didn’t bring your own. Thank you Matt, Kaia, Jake (for being an awesome and knowledgeable guide for the day) and the rest of the Top End crew for allowing a couple from halfway around the world the opportunity to encounter so much that Australia has to offer! Hope to visit y’all again!

From the moment Jake (and his dog Kaia) picked us up in Darwin CBD, we knew this was going to be a great day. We kicked things off with a river boat cruise and a delicious breakfast on board - the perfect, relaxed start to the adventure. Jake's knowledge was next level. He didn't just talk crocs - he gave us a real appreciation for the whole ecosystem, the birdlife, and how it all fits together. You can tell this isn't just a job for him, it's a genuine passion, and it made the whole experience so much richer. Then came the airboat ride, which was lots of animal encounters from start to finish. Feeding the big crocs was an absolute highlight - equal parts thrilling and unforgettable. To top it all off, we finished with a scenic helicopter ride and relaxed by the pool with a cold beer, still buzzing from the day. Fun, informative, relaxing, and thrilling all in one — this place checks every box. If you're heading to the Top End, do not miss this experience!

Amazing day out and one of the best experience days we have done. Airboats, river cruse, helicopter ride and crock feeding all amazing. Great for all ages and one not to be missed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing day with Top End Safaris and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! The staff were exceptional and our tour guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. There was something for everyone, with our group ranging from 12 to 80 years old, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw a jabiru on its nest, freshwater and saltwater crocodiles, buffalo and an incredible variety of birdlife. Watching the crocodiles being fed was a highlight, and the helicopter flight was absolutely incredible and made the experience even more special. We were also treated to a fantastic buffet-style breakfast, and finishing the day with a swim in the infinity pool and a drink at the bar was the perfect way to top it all off. A huge thank you to our wonderful guide and all the staff at Top End Safaris for making the day so enjoyable and memorable. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Top End trip and an experience we won’t forget. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Picked up at Coolalinga. Great. Drive out about 1 1/2 hours. Introduction to guides. Saftey instructions done. Onto cruise boat, with huge, self serve breakie. Lots of photo opportunities. Next the air boat ride...spotting wild life again....back to land. Feeding of captured crocs. Lots of informative information. Back for refreshments and chopper rides....bused back to starting point. Great day out and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Top End
