Was a great tour, a little disappointing that we only got one book per booking rather than one each as there was only 2 of us on the booking
The tour was really informative and the history was informative with a touch of spooky. My partner and I thought it was great and look forward to doing a few more tours.

Last night, I attended "The Other Side" tour with my best friend, and her partner. It was incredible! Our host, Glory (I apologise if spelt wrong or I mis-rememebered her name), she is truly made for this job. We all absolutely adored her enthusiasm, personality and story telling abilities (both scripted and personal ones). You wouldn't have thought she was relevantly new to being a guide. I really enjoyed learning the history of the people whos final reating place is within the massive but gorgeous cemetery of Toowong. Brooke and I have also done the Original Tour, which is also very highly recommended! Ps, Shout out to Jack Slim for all his hard work, due diligence, research and passion to the craft. 10/10

First time being on this tour and i had a great time and did take some photos aswell. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO GLORY our tour guide she was amazing with the knowledge she shared with us and beautifully interpreted the stories to us which set the tone in each spot we stopped at.

This poor review is NOT for 'The Other Side' Ghost Tour. I think they need to show very clearly on their booking site that 2 tours run at the same time on the same night, but from different entry points. We all thought we had tickets in the same thing, but it turned out we didn't. The 'Goth' looking gentleman at the main gates welcomed us all onto his tour. I'm not sure if the 2 tours are run the same way. But what our group agreed we didn't like was that we got to 'see' very little. It would have been much more enjoyable if he'd had a decent light and lit up the grave /memorial he was talking about while he spoke. Instead we spent long periods of 10-15 minutes at a time standing still in the dark, seeing nothing, and listening to him recite in an uncomfortably loud unpleasant voice, overlong boring tales. I would recommend use your normal voice (it was much nicer), light up the subject your talking about while you're talking, and shine the light while you're walking on some of the other beautiful monuments graves etc so the group can see them, shorten the stories by half, and perhaps not word for word for whats written in the pamphlet. That cemetery has lots of bones in it, there must be more interesting factual stories about the people in it surely. The goth guide, was a nice touch. He himself was lovely, but I'd prefer to have him speak to us in his own voice, rather than shouting aggressively at us. If he spoke normally, cut the stories in half time wise, use a decent light to light up interesting features, and the subject he's talking about, it would have been a much more entertaining tour. The most entertaining bit was when 2 people (who clearly thought the place would provide a bit of privacy for them) tried to sneak away among the trees forming dark shapes in the background, and then found to get out they had to walk through our group. I recommend you revamp this tour, as in it's current presentation format I couldn't recommend it.

We want to clarify that, while it may not be 100% clear through Viator, if you had booked directly through our official website, we make it very clear that we run two separate tours, on the same evening, starting from different entry points. Your confirmation email would have stated very clearly to meet at the Richer Street entrance. It appears that while you booked a different tour to the rest of your group, we still allowed you to take part, technically on the wrong tour, with your friends. Unfortunately we have no control over Viator's website and layout of experiences. We recommend checking the details on our website for more information, as this is where we provide the most accurate and up-to-date tour descriptions. While we do aim for an immersive and atmospheric experience, we will certainly take your suggestion into consideration regarding lighting, volume, and the pacing of the stories. Our team is committed to providing engaging, informative tours, and your feedback helps us improve. There are obvoiusly challenges with these tours, as they run 7.30pm-9.30pm they are mostly in darkness - this is the reason we ask each person to bring along a torch. A great experience, Glory was personable and professional and very knowledgable. A thoroughly good experience. I do have a suggestion, would it be possible to consider a crime or history tour of Toowong Cemetery? I have done both ghost tours for Toowong cemertery now and there is just so much history left to learn!
