Der Nationalpark Tomorr Mountain bietet jetzt viel mehr Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Trekking und Erkunden der Umgebung. Diese Tour kann in zwei Varianten arrangiert werden, um entweder die Burg von Tomorri oder den höchsten Gipfel des Berges zu erreichen. Bei der ersten Option fahren wir etwa 1,5 Stunden bis zum Dorf Tomorr und von dort aus wandern wir hinauf in Richtung der Burg von Tomorri. Die Wanderung / Wanderung dauert je nach Niveau der Reisenden etwa 1,5 – 2 Stunden. Anschließend erreichen wir den Ort „Qafa e Skures“, wo wir uns ausruhen und die fantastische Aussicht auf den Berg direkt vor uns genießen. Mittags können wir hier drinnen oder ca. 80m oberhalb auf der Burg (Ruine der Burg) zu Mittag essen. Ein erfahrener lokaler Führer wird uns begleiten, um uns einige der interessantesten Geschichten, Legenden und das kulturelle Erbe der Region zu erzählen. Wir werden einen anderen kürzeren Weg hinuntersteigen, um auch einen anderen Blick auf den Park und das Dorf zu genießen.

Mount Tomorr offered us a serene atmosphere with a clean environment devoid of bestial harm. One climbs mount Tomorr without fear of being harmed by any wild beast. At the top of the mountain, one is able to have a good panorama of Berat, its environs, and other surrounding communities. Tomorr also offers spiritual benefits to those who believe; as it serves a holy place of scarifice for the Muslims. Being the tallest mountain around tourist city of Berat, one is sure of having a good feel of physical featness after the hiking!
Mount Tomor is a beautiful panorama. I really love this landscape. First time I came to Albania, for me I am very happy when I went to Tomor mountain. Very interesting to see, when we are in the top of the mountain, we can see almost all of Albania, Greece and some part of Italy.
The views of Albania from the apex of the Tomorr mountain is very splendid and amazing. It’s really an experience that calls for the next.

We had a beautiful, spectacular climb to the top of Tomor Mountain. It was only April and we were walking through deep snow. Genti, our guide, always knew the best way and kept encouraging us to persevere to get the reward of the magnificent, breathtaking summit view. He had also thought of regional homemade food. We felt well guided through the day by pleasant conversations. It remains for us an unforgettable day.

This is a great day tour for those who like to hike and see the area from above and at the same time want to learn more about the Bektashi. By jeep you go to the Teqe of the Bektashi and then hike partly on small paths partly cross-country to the summit. There is the tomb of Baba Ali. Partly it was very steep and therefore you should not be afraid of heights. Gentian is a very dedicated and warm guide who can tell a lot about the country and culture. Communication worked great with Erilda, who works in the office. My emails were always answered promptly. If you like hiking, this tour should not be missed.
