My husband and I had a wonderful tour of Toledo with our private tour guide, Sonia. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about this beautiful city. We enjoyed the leisurely walk through the areas within the walls, especially the Jewish quarter (which is no longer occupied by Jews) as well as a tour of the oldest magnificent cathedral. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this tour and Sonia.
Loved this tour of Toledo. Our tour guide, Sonia, was very professional and informative about Toledo, its history, and the cathedral. She provided much historical information and is very passionate about Toledo. She pointed us to excellent post-tour lunch spots as well. Definitely book this tour and request Sonia!
Fantastic tour. Sonia was a terrific and very knowledgeable local guide (with a history major from memory!) which made the day very rewarding. We learned all things about the history, architecture, religion and art. Sonia also provided recommendations for lunch in town as well as other spots next in our travels - including Madrid and Sevilla. An amazing and very unique place to visit. Alberto was friendly and knowledgeable. He was also flexible. We requested to be picked up at 10:00am instead of 9:00am, and he immediately rearranged our tour in Toledo. The local guide, Maria del Valle was a sweetheart. She was so passionate about the history of the town; it was a pleasure to spend time with her while learning the history about the monuments.

Our private tour was excellent. Our guide Sonia was in communication with us well ahead of the tour giving us precise information that allowed the day of the tour to be a smooth and enjoyable one. We spent the tour learning and having our many questions addressed in an expert manner. Sonia was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtfully walked us through a history of Spain and role the ancient city of Toledo played in it. Our entire family, including a teenager were engaged through the day. The highlight of the tour was the Catedral de Toledo which was amazing. Between the enormity of the church and the incredible detail of the art works, stained glass, stone and wooden carvings, you could start to get a glimpse of 800 years of history. I would recommend this when visiting Spain.
We scheduled a 5 hour private Toledo tour (Madrid to Toledo) with a licensed guide. Sonia, was an outstanding guide, knowledgeable, excellent communicator and friendly. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time with her! I suggest requesting Sonia as a guide if you’re considering this tour.
