Nach ca. 1 Stunde Fahrt gesellen wir uns bei der Ankunft zu unserem Reiseleiter.
Nach der Ankunft machen wir eine Panoramatour mit dem Bus, um die herrliche Aussicht auf die Stadt von der anderen Seite des Tejo zu genießen, ein Muss, um das beliebteste Foto von Toledo zu machen.
Damasquinados Suarez Workshop bietet eine unvergessliche Reise in die Welt der Damaszenerkunst, ein Jahrhunderte altes Handwerk, das aus Damaskus mitgebracht und in Spanien perfektioniert wurde. Seit 1927 ist diese familiengeführte Werkstatt für ihre exquisiten Schmuck- und Dekorationsstücke bekannt, die jeweils durch Einlegen von feinem Gold oder Silber in Stahl mit außergewöhnlicher Geschicklichkeit und Präzision hergestellt werden. Besucher können Meister bei der Arbeit beobachten und einzigartige Stücke herstellen, die das reiche Kulturerbe und die Kunst von Toledo einfangen. Die einladende Atmosphäre, das sachkundige Personal und die schillernde Auswahl machen den Laden zu einem Muss für alle, die ein authentisches Stück Spanischer Kultur und Geschichte suchen.
WALKING TOUR : Unsere Wanderung beginnt an der berühmten Plaza de Zocodover, dem Herzen von Toledo seit arabischer Zeit. Dieser dreieckige Platz, einst ein belebter Marketplace, zeigt durch seine Portikusbauten Jahrhunderte Geschichte. Während wir tiefer in die mittelalterlichen Straßen Toledos eintauchen, halten wir am Brunnen von El Salvador an und durchqueren die malerische Balaguer Passage. Wir bewundern das majestätische Rathaus von Toledo und fahren zum Rathausplatz, wo die politischen, religiösen und gerichtlichen Kräfte der Stadt zusammentreffen. Die Tour endet an der prächtigen gotischen Kathedrale, einem Meisterwerk der Spanischen Gotik, das die Skyline von Toledo dominiert.

FREIZEIT: Nach dem geführten Teil haben Sie freie Zeit, um selbstständig zu erkunden. Vielleicht besuchen Sie das jüdische Viertel und tauchen Sie ein in die Atmosphäre von Sepharad durch seine Synagogen und Museen

Very nice trip 👌 all went in time
We had a fantastic day trip from Madrid to Toledo. It’s a beautiful city with so much history and charm, and visiting the stunning cathedral was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Our guide, Angel, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and shared lots of interesting information about the city and its history. He really made the experience even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved the trip and would definitely do it again. Toledo is well worth visiting, and we highly recommend this tour!
Ankil was a brilliant guide and explained everything in detail. His knowledge in history was exceptional.

What a beautiful and educational city. Our guide was so knowledgeable and gave a wonderful tour. Plenty of time to explore on our own. The sword factory was amazing. Loved all the history and beautiful buildings.

Overall was a good tour, good bus trip out there with some good information about the summer months around madrid. Especially good for the price. The workshop visit is a token 5 minute demo and massive sales pitch, atleast it was a quick 30 minute stop, could have been 20 or less. Guide could have been better for english people when doing the walking tour into the city, focused on spanish but the group was 70/30 towards that end. However it was good when we broke into the smaller group in the cathedral where he explained everything equally in both languages, very interesting. A great city to explore, you need google maps or something of the sort otherwise you will get turned around in the narrow streets.

The meeting time/place was good, easy to find etc, the bus was very good, clean tidy, good driver, the guide was knowledgeable and interesting, we arrived at the old city and began the tour about 11.00am, the tour around the city was approx 1 hour 30, this left 4 hours before the bus was due to collect... perhaps if there was an half day with the tour that would have been a better option.

However, we would like to clarify that we do offer a half-day tour to Toledo, departing from Madrid at 8:30 a.m. and returning at approximately 3:00 p.m. We are sorry that you did not see this option when making your reservation, as it may have been a better fit for the experience you were looking for. Regarding the free time, Toledo is a city with an exceptional historical and cultural heritage, and there is a great deal to see and enjoy. Many of our guests appreciate having several hours after the guided tour to explore the city at their own pace, visit its monuments, enjoy the local cuisine, or simply wander through its unique streets. The trip itself was good, Toledo was a amazing city. However, the duration of stay was too short. We were surprised that the duration of 10:00am started journey was same as that of 8:30am started journey, also the prices for these two were the same too! The tourguide was not good. We felt very difficult to understand what he was talking. His Spanish and English were very difficult to differentiate! We could know when he spoke spanish and when he spoke english. It's fine for the tour group with different languages if the tourguide could clearly convey his messages to others, but this tourguide could not! Toledo trip was good but the tourguide made it unattractive!

Very nice stay in Toledo!! And it was much better while we had the presence of our guide Delfina, who wonderfully showed the interesting details of the town! But some people got a bit confused because we had different groups in the same bus (half-day, full-day, visiting the Cathedral or not, going to Segovia or not). I don't know if VPT could do some arrangement so that we had everyone in the bus doing the same tour and spending all the time with a same guide. And I'd like to pay to visit the Cathedral if I knew about that option when I arrived at VPT. Unluckily, that was not the best day to be in Toledo because most toilets weren't available in the town. We were oriented to use the toilet in the first stop at Damasquinados Suárez - but then we faced that problem in the afternoon. Anyway, don't hesitate to do this trip! You will find a toilet anywhere. It was so nice to be in a medieval town and I really enjoyed everything Toledo had to offer to visitors. Very charming town and full of history with very gentle habitants, so many tastes from Spain and from the region of Castilla-La Mancha to prove!

Upon arrival, all passengers receive a boarding card with their specific itinerary and timings, and the guide also reviews the information before departure to ensure everything is clear. We are sorry that you were not aware of the Cathedral option at the time of booking. Regarding the restroom facilities, there are several options available. Restaurants and cafés offer access to their restrooms with a minimum consumption, both before departure in Madrid and during the visit in Toledo. Additionally, the Damasquinado workshop stop includes courtesy restroom facilities for our guests.
