I accompanied my partner to just watch while he actually participated in the build and I am SO glad I did! The entire workshop from start to finish was so much fun. We started with a history of Nintendo consoles and even got to try a wide variety of vintage handhelds, some of which I didn't know existed. Really great way to start things off. The guys leading the workshop displayed a really in depth and enthusiastic knowledge of the inner workings of the devices, were extremely helpful and happy to answer my questions along the way even though I was just observing. Only one other person was participating in the build besides us, so i was included in all of the conversations and hands on gaming outside of the actual modding portion. When you finished your build there were probably around 100 different game cartridges available to test drive your new handheld. Really really great experience that I cannot recommend more. My partner wants to go back and make another next time we find ourselves in Japan. Absolutely worth the money and time<3

Such a fun experience! I really enjoyed the Game Boy making class. It was hands-on, easy to follow, and really satisfying getting to put everything together and see the finished product. Definitely a unique and memorable activity, and I’d absolutely recommend it!
