The excursion on Etna was simply beautiful. We will definitely do it again, still with Saro. Recommended by a local friend, we could not have made a better choice. Trip to Etna was better than we expected. Journey was exactly like it was discribed. We drove with bus to the top and saw breathtaking views and took unforgettable pictures. The best part was walking back with Saro who simply explained everything about Etna with passion and humor. We will certainly come back here again!

After years I was able to do a tour excursion on Mount Etna and I'm glad to have had Saro as our guide! he was attentive to the small details to make us live this experience to the fullest both from the organizational point of view, he advised us to leave early in the morning but we were the first to start and get to the top without long waits, which from the cognitive aspect of the volcano in every respect! once we arrived at the top we found ourselves at the foot of the great "mom" and a breathtaking view! see the contrast of the black lava and the whiteness of the snow was incredible! Put your hand on the lava and feel the warmth with the contrast of the cold snow... I would recommend all my friends to turn to Saro for a fantastic experience!

We had an unforgettable tour with Saro. The Easy Hiking Tour is perfect for people with normal, good physical condition and of course higher level (Saro creates individual tours according to the personal level). We were a small group of four people with mixed fitness levels. While my partner has a high athletic level, I have a rather low normal level and am also afraid of heights. Saro put the tour together in such a way that all of us had a perfect experience. He knows routes that are much less touristy and offer a wonderful and varied experience of nature. He has in-depth and very broad knowledge, which he communicates very vividly and with heart, and he is an incredibly authentic and likeable person. Saro helps with the equipment in advance (included in the price). I borrowed trekking boots and a walking stick, and for the visit of the lava tube there was a hairnet (hygiene, thank you!) and a decent helmet with light (not an unsuitable builder's helmet) and torch. At all times I felt safe, in good hands and challenged to the right extent. Our visit was rounded off with a stop at a family-run agritourism. This day was a great gift, thank you Saro! One thing is certain: on my next visit to Sicily, another tour with Saro is a must! 😉

BIGSARO helped me organise and realise my fiancés 30th birthday present by hiking Mount Etna and it was truly special! We could have gone with any other tour guide, but Saro specifically made our experience unforgettable with his genuine soul, passion and humour! He catered to our needs, helped us out with hiking boots (as us rushing rookies forgot them back in the UK). He took us on a quiet, non-touristy trail which made us feel like we had the whole mountain completely to ourselves - Saro knows Etna like the back of his hands! We were gobsmacked by the unimaginable landscapes as we hiked up Etna. We finished the tour inside the lava tubes (and even turned all the lights off at one point - a very funny experience) topped off by some tasting of local produce at a lovely family run farm. An amazing day with an amazing guide. Despite the very bad weather, Saro made our trip to Etna unforgetable. He was extremely helpful and shared his incredible knowledge about the region, its history, culture and cuisine in a very interesting and funny way.
