Tickets für die Kecak Dance Performance im Uluwatu Tempel

Beschreibung

There are 2 ways to book the Kecak Dance tickets - online and in-person. The online tickets are expensive than in-person (150K IDR/person). We booked the tickets online through this Viator experience just one day before because we wanted to attend the 6 pm show (which is usually sold out in-person) instead of the 7 pm show. We were still apprehensive if the voucher we got on Viator would suffice to get the actual tickets or not because of the reviews. But the team was responsive, they answered all my questions. The entrance to the temple is paid separately when we arrived at around 4:30 pm. There is a separate line to get the tickets for those who have booked online. This is not skip-the-line tickets and the person did not meet us. I'm glad we booked it this way though because the process was smooth and easy and worked for us, and the 6 pm show was sold out as expected. We preferred to watch the sunset views and dance together in daylight hours for 6pm show. The show itself is entertaining if you know the story of Ramayana it makes more sense. The kecak sound, fire dance is unique from other balinese dances. Much recommended!
Disappointing show. We were told it was a fire dance show; there was 1 hour of show and only 2 minutes of a single dance with fire.
The good: They were able to get me two 6pm tickets for last night even though that show was sold out online elsewhere. They replied to my questions promptly. The bad: I didn’t receive the tickets until a few hours before the show, after I wrote them repeatedly. I had to figure out whether to book a private driver for 5 hours so it was stressful to wait for the tickets. Also, the instructions were not clear. At first they told me I would get the tickets until”on the spot”. I asked them to clarify the meaning of that. Then they sent me a pdf file of the tickets with a different agency name. I was also uncertain if I would forfeit the tickets or pay extra charges at the gate, because the ticket said my nationality is Indonesian but I am not. I wish all the instructions were sent clearly and tickets were confirmed earlier (not a few hours before show). It was a confusing experience.
We enjoyed the dance with sun setting in the background. The tickets were sent the day before the show and helped us skip the long queues. Overall a great experience and highly recommend it.
Hi s0wmiaj, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience watching the Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple, especially with that iconic sunset backdrop. It’s also great to know that our ticketing process helped you skip the long queues, making your visit much smoother. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for more amazing experiences in Bali soon! Best regards,
I tried booking online as it suggested to make sure I got in, I was told it's sold out via a WhatsApp link to buy tickets so I went to see the sunset from the temple and when I arrived it wasn't sold out and you could buy tickets there. I'm glad I decided to go and watch the sunset as I did see the fire show as well while visiting Ulawatu, the show was unusual and different and the fire show part was at the end of the show
"Thanks for the heads-up! It’s really helpful to know that tickets might still be available at the counter even if it says 'sold out' online. I was planning to go next week and was worried about booking. Glad you enjoyed the sunset and the fire show!"
