Best for those with kids or who loved Paddington growing up. Don’t expect too much as an adult, but the games in each room were fun for the kids. It was a worthwhile experience for the family.
Very well organised throughout. High standard of set and props and just as entertaining for adults as for children. I feel even those who are not strictly Paddington fans would enjoy this attraction.
Extremely disappointing. Supposed to be a Paddington Bear experience but you don't actually get to see him until right at the end and then it's only a photo opportunity behind a screen for an extra £20. Not really an experience if you don't see the main character is it? As other people have said it's a few rooms with actors and some puzzles to do, all building up to marmalade day party which ends up being a completely empty street scene with an uninspiring cafe at the far end. Where is the so called party?? All in all pretty poor all round and a huge disappointment. Seriously don't bother!
I love it it was good and the experience was the best thing to visit
Overall quute good. Kids will love it . Bit of an anticlimax with the party day . Staff not really interacting . Free photos with Paddington bear or you could pay for greenscreen ones . Family of 4 is going to set you back £136 for 2 hours
Very interactive, you’re guided in a quest to prepare for Marmalade Day! You move from room to room and there are challenges for the children in each room including making marmalade in darkest Peru. You end by meeting Paddington and celebrating Marmalade Day in the Windsor Gardens neighborhood. So well done and congratulations to all the characters in each of the rooms. A lot of fun!
Absolutely fantastic! Worth every penny. Our 3 yr old was beside himself with excitement. We had a close call with the loos even though he had gone just before, there is no access or certainly none that are visible once you go through "the platform" in your group until the end (and there are people in character you dont want to disturb or change the experience for others in the group). The actors were brilliant, the sets were brilliant. All in all we loved it. 3 days later and our son is still describing the story line and activities.
First time visit with young children. Easy to find, everything is in same path as London eye, sea life, London dungeon, shrek etc. Quite pricey so expectations were high. Have to go through gift shop to go in, was in small space so probably not the best idea. Other than well organised and taken into initial train ‘ride’ which is ok but more visual one than actual. There afterwards you are taken into various themed rooms with characters from the series. To the credit of staff, they do a good job and the children seemed occupied and entertained enough. The problem i had was most of the activities involved physical items, rather than something immersive or use of modern technology. For the price i expected more. At the end there is a nice small cafe with activity/play area for the kids with photo opportunity with Paddington himself. Then on way back out you hit the same gift shop though to be fair it has some decent items at a decent price. Overall fans of Paddington will enjoy it. As will younger children. But cant see the appeal for older children. Also probably wont visit again (as we have done for other attractions).
Really fun visit with my daughter in law and 2 grandsons ages 2 and 4. 4 year old was a little scared of the dark scenes but the interactive activities were fun and enjoyed by all.
It was a good visit but if you are in any way claustrophobic, you may wish to tell a member of staff particularly when going into the ‘pantry’ off the kitchen. It gave off the impression of being ‘locked in’ as it was quite dark too. Due to the number of other people also within the experience, I felt quite anxious, so I tried the doors that I could feel but they didn’t open! Just something to consider!
