Unser Ortskundiger Reiseleiter führt Sie in die Rolle Turins in der Italienischen Identität und sein kulinarisches Kulturerbe ein, das von 800 Jahren savoyischer Herrschaft geprägt ist. Die Tour beginnt in einem historischen Café, wo Sie Bicerin genießen, ein traditionelles Schokoladengetränk, das noch immer in Cafés aus dem 19. Jahrhundert beliebt ist. Während Sie die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen, entdecken Sie die Geschichte der Stadt. Danach geht es weiter zu einem gemütlichen Ort, wo Sie eine Lektion über feine Schokolade erhalten, mit exquisiter dunkler Schokolade aus nur 10% des feinsten Kakaos der Welt, alles 100% biologisch und „Bohne an Tafel“. Anschließend probieren Sie traditionelle Schokoladen wie Gianduiotto und Cremino. Gianduiotto, hergestellt aus fein gemahlenen Haselnüssen und Schokolade, hat eine reiche Geschichte, die bis ins 19. Jahrhundert zurückreicht, als Kakao knapp war. Anschließend genießen Sie eine Weinprobe mit zwei ikonischen piemontesischen Weinen, gepaart mit einer Bio-Fleisch- und Käseplatte. Fabio is extremely knowledgeable in wine and chocolate. He combines this with his skills of tasting chocolate, meats and cheeses alongside good wine to give an entertaining and educational couple of hours. His task was made harder by the incredible heat being seen in Italy. We really enjoyed the session and had to try some more of the excellent Roero red wine after he'd left us in the atmospheric Bistrot Turin.

We had our tasting with fabio. He was kind, open for questions and interessted in tailoring the tasting to us. Do inform him if you are vegitarie, so he can replace the meat with something fitting. He even suggested restaurants and spots to visit. 10/10

Loved the side trip to the very old pharmacy. Guide was terrific and I found the whole experience to be great. Both the wines and the chocolate were unexpected, and very exciting.

Nice relaxing walk through the plaza, followed by the chocolate and wine tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable and super pleasant about n his presentation. Definitely worth the price, both in $ and in time. And the white wine that was presented was really remarkable.
