The Narrows: Private geführte Wanderung im Zion-Nationalpark

This was our first hike in the Narrows. Michael from Cedar and Sage is an informed, thoughtful, and warm guide. He taught us about the geology and history of the canyon. He provided canyon shoes and neoprene socks, a waterproof backpack, and hiking sticks. We had a delightful day in the Narrows. We started a little early which helped avoid too many crowds. He brought a delicious charcuterie lunch which we enjoyed!

We cannot recommend this tour enough. Fantastic, amazing, hilarious, educational. We went on our anniversary and had a great time. Moises was our guide. And yes, Michael, we think you are a lucky person. Moises was extremely helpful from beginning to spectacular end. We talked about the history of Zion but also connected personally on a range of topics. Great recommendations of things to do in town as well.

Moises was the BEST guide ever!! My mom and I were on a trip to Utah together and this tour was definitely the highlight. Moises was so accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable! We had everything we needed and more. The charcuterie board was a HUGE plus! It was a great way to refuel on the way back. I can’t recommend this enough for those who want to do the narrows but are nervous about where to start. It was extremely helpful to have someone guide us through!

It was a stress-free way to hike the Narrows. Micheal texted me the details the night before, was promptly at the meet up sight and was super knowledgeable about the hike and all of nature. It was a great experience.

Moises was a gem of a human: very attentive, conversational, and chock full of knowledge about the Narrows. He regularly checked in with us and took candid photos at places that truly captured the moment. We were incredibly fortunate to ate to have had a less crowded day and a much cooler day temperature wise than is normal for a holiday week in July. My wife and I would highly recommend navigating such a unique terrain with a guide and especially Moises. It made us so much more present and relaxed to just enjoy the moment without the worry of “how far Wall Street would be.” We can’t thank the team enough for such a wonderful time!

The total walking/hiking is 6 miles. Four of those are in and out of the river. You are walking on rocks of various sizes and shapes. The equipment provided does help. Michael was our guide and was great. He took pictures for us, pointed out areas of interest and knew where to enter and exit the river. He also constantly allowed my wife and I to catch up when he and our grandkids moved a bit swifter than us. The scenery is beautiful. The walls seemed at times to go up forever.

Michael was an amazing guide who helped us navigate through the Narrows, provided excellent commentary and context about the park and its geological wonders, and prepared a delicious lunch. Everything we needed was included - Michael thought of everything! Highly recommend this incredible hike and doing it with a guide made it so relaxing and easy.

Moises was an incredible guide! He led my family (me, husband and two teen boys) for a perfect hike through the Narrows. Pointing out so many unique features and spectacular views. There’s so much to see and it’s so beautiful, it can be hard to take it all in, but having Moises there to guide us was incredible. I cannot recommend this hike and hiring Moises enough. We even stopped for a perfect snack lunch. It was ideal. Book Moises for your next visit to Zion!

We were first time visitors to Zion and wanted to do the narrows. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids 19, 15, 14. Our guide was Dayna and she was awesome. She was fun, energetic and knowledgeable. She guided us through the narrows but was able to speak to other trails to try and was able to talk to us about the layers of rock we saw. She was able to take a ton of pictures and videos of us allowing us to concentrate on walking on the rocks in the water. The snack was just what we needed at the end of the hike. Equipment was good and easy to use. We had a great day and were so happy we did this guided tour!
