So glad we did this. I surprised my family with this unusual tour, not letting them know what was going to happen. Really though, even I didn’t really know what was going to happen. We had done other walking tours of Edinburgh and were a bit “walking toured” out but this one is so much better and fun and different....just book it! You’ll laugh and learn and laugh some more. Dave is hilariously funny and you get to see a lot of the old town. I’d recommend booking the tour early in your visit as it will give you a lay of the land and background of the city.

Dave was a great tour guide! Highly recommend this tour if your not a sensitive political correct individual. He makes his tour a unique for sure.

What can I say about Dave. If you go to Edinburgh without children I can not recommend this tour enough. Not only did we learn a lot about history we had a great laugh as well. I could not believe how much ground we covered in 90 minutes, yet nothing felt rushed and hurried. Yes there is a bit of bad language, but nothing worse than you hear on an episode of Peaky Blinders. So if you are not easily offended and like a good joke and a good bit of banter, give this a go, you wont regret it. Thank you for a great tour Dave

This walking tour speaks true to its name for an entertaining and informative tour of old town. Walking around town with Dave will answer the questions and wonders you may have come upon in your discoveries of old town in addition to pointing out new wonders of old town that you didn't notice before!

The tour was set at an excellent pace to cover a good bit of ground without wearing anyone out. Dirty Dave lives up to his tour name, exposing some of the more shocking and unusual bits of the city's history - the kind you won't get to hear on any other adventure! 10 out of 10 would do again

Dave gives great background and stories to the area without info dumping on you. I would definitely recommend walking with him if you want a more entertaining, fun, chill time. Fair warning his jokes will not get better over time, still 10/10.

Had an excellent ramble around the best bits of Auld Reekie with Dirty Dave last night. If you want a Scotsman's take on things old and new, do this tour and enjoy the comedy too. 6 stars.

Dave was a good laugh. A good alternative way to see the sites of Edinburgh and enjoy a drink along the way (don't tell his girlfriend)
