Reiseverlauf

This is the best single tour I’ve ever done in my life. Hector is a history savant and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He knows so much about the central Teotihuacan civilization and his passion is palatable. He welcomes questions and nurtures any line of thinking that you may have. He curates the tour for you and you have great freedom of choice. The amount of history and anthropology I’ve learned about these amazing people was eye opening and Hector uses visual aids and other learning tools to really help explain the cultural significance of Teotihuacan, the great pyramids and the scope of this great civilization. If I could take this tour again, I would!
We had a great time on our private tour with Rodolfo! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour fun. He shared lots of fascinating facts about Teotihuacan as well as Mexican history and culture. We really enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend Rodolfo!
This tour gave a great overview of this amazing site. Our tour guide, Aldo, was very knowledgeable and trully passionate about Mesoamericanan history and culture. He was also very flexible and gave us options of where we wanted to spend our time. His ability to stay ahead of the crowd made this private tour well worth the price.
This was hands down one of the absolute best tours I’ve ever been on—and trust me, I’ve traveled all over the world. From the moment I booked, the communication was top-notch; they answered all my questions promptly and clearly. On the day of the tour, they arrived right on time. As soon as we got into the car, our guide started sharing rich insights about Mexico City and its local culture. Once at the archaeological site, the tour was simply outstanding—incredibly informative and engaging. Ivan is a phenomenal guide whose depth of knowledge is remarkable; it’s immediately obvious that he knows the site inside and out. To top off the day, he took us to a fantastic local restaurant where we tried the Molcajete 3 Culturas (a delicious mix of grilled meats), and it was unbelievable. All in all, easily one of the best tour experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. Highly recommended!
Aldo, our guide was amazing with the wealth of knowledge that he provided us with during our tour. We avoided all the crowds and got to see an extra site not far from the Teotihuacán pyramids that was mind blowing.
We did this as a group of friends in Aug 2026. Was very disappointed with the overall experience. The guide did not really explain anything along the way or when we got there. He didn’t even come inside because he said he had some issues with his pass to get in - we ended up having to go on the tour ourselves with no guided explanation. The lunch spot he brought us to was not really authentic and the food was quite disappointing. Felt like an uber ride, which would be fine, if they didn’t charge this much money and sell it as a guided experience. Would avoid!
Very disappointing. The car didn’t have AC, driver’s English was very limited. The guide didn’t accompanied us during the visit and had no knowledge about the site. He basically took us there and brought us back, like a very expensive uber, with no AC. At the end of the trip he got lost in Mexico City, not knowing how to drive around the city, to bring us back to the meeting point. Not worth the money.
This was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price we paid. At the beginning, we were asked to send photographs of ourselves to confirm our identities. This felt inappropriate and raised serious safety concerns, particularly since we were three women traveling together. The transportation itself was fine, but honestly, it felt as though we had simply hired an Uber. The driver’s English was limited, he had very little knowledge about Teotihuacan, and, most importantly, he did not accompany us into the archaeological site to provide any explanation or guidance. The restaurant we were taken to was also very disappointing and did not offer the traditional Mexican experience we were expecting. Overall, this was nowhere near the quality or value we expected for the price. I would not recommend this tour and would request a refund given how far the experience fell short of what was advertised.
Dear Mariana, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret that your experience did not reflect the high standard of service we strive to provide, and we deeply apologize for any discomfort caused during your tour. Regarding the request for a photograph prior to pickup, please know that this is strictly a safety measure used exclusively to ensure our team identifies the correct guests in busy pickup locations with multiple tours departing at once. However, we completely understand how this felt uncomfortable for your group, and we are reviewing this procedure immediately to handle pickup verification with far greater sensitivity moving forward. Regarding the visit to the archaeological site, our team takes great pride in offering highly informative historical and archaeological tours, supported by thousands of positive reviews from past travelers. In this instance, while our guide was momentarily completing the mandatory ticket verification process at the main entrance, your group proceeded ahead into the site, which led to the unfortunate separation during the visit. We sincerely apologize for this miscommunication at the gate. Additionally, concerning the dining experience, our team originally planned to accommodate your request to dine at La Gruta. However, upon seeing the lengthy wait times typical of a busy weekend, your group decided to move to an alternative restaurant to save time. We value your feedback as it helps us refine our communication and logistics. We take your concerns very seriously and would welcome the opportunity to connect with you directly to discuss a partial refund for your experience. Best regards, Ivan Maldonado
We really enjoyed our tour of Teotihuacan. Our guide Noah was very professional and knowledgeable. The drive was so comfortable and relaxing, much easier than trying to figure out all of the logistics without a tour, especially with kids. Noah went above and beyond and I would recommend him and the tour for anyone wanting to visit the pyramids of Teotihuacan.
This was an amazing tour! We loved Miguel- he is a wealth of knowledge. So patient explaining everything from anthropology to history. We enjoyed hearing about the pre/colonial times.
