Wir besuchen die repräsentativsten Orte im Norden Teneriffas. Unser erster Besuch wird der Teide Nationalpark sein, wo sich der höchste Gipfel Spaniens befindet: der Vulkan El Teide. Hier können Sie die beeindruckenden Vulkanlandschaften von Las Cañadas del Teide bewundern. Wir werden nach Icod de los Vinos absteigen, wo wir die Gelegenheit haben, den berühmten Drago Milenario zu betrachten, der mehr als 800 Jahre alt sein soll. Sie haben freie Zeit, um alleine zu Mittag zu essen oder die kanarische Gastronomie in einem der von uns empfohlenen Restaurants zu genießen. Das nächste Ziel ist Garachico. Wir schlendern durch die Straßen der Altstadt und entdecken die natürlichen Pools von El Caletón, die von Lavaströmen gebildet werden, oder die Burg von San Miguel, eine alte Festung, die die Stadt vor Piratenangriffen verteidigte. Schließlich betreten wir den ländlichen Park Teno, bis wir den Weiler Masca erreichen, der zwischen beeindruckenden Tälern und Schluchten liegt.

Wir werden etwa 30 Minuten im Teide-Nationalpark verbringen, um die eindrucksvolle Vulkanlandschaft des Teide zu bewundern, dem höchsten Gipfel Spaniens und dem dritthöchsten Vulkan der Welt auf Meeresbasis.
Hier haben wir Zeit, durch die Stadt zu schlendern und den symbolträchtigen Drago Milenario zu erkunden, einen Baum, der vermutlich über 800 Jahre alt ist.
In Garachico schlendern wir durch die Altstadt und besichtigen die berühmten, aus Vulkanlava geformten Naturpools von El Caletón oder die Burg San Miguel.
Wir betreten den Landschaftspark Teno, bis wir das Dörfchen Masca erreichen. Ein unglaublicher Ort zwischen Tälern und Schluchten, umgeben von beeindruckender Natur und wo die traditionelle kanarische Architektur hervorsticht.

Absolutely brilliant day trip. I was wary booking a trip with a company I'd previously never heard about but the amazing reviews sold it to me. They certainly were not lying!!! Picked up from hotel close to our own on time and welcomed aboard by Enrico our tour guide for the day. He was amazing. Funny and so knowledgeable about everything not just the places we visited. Engaged with all guests and remembered names and details. Visited the Dragon tree, beautiful town and breathtaking views at Masca begore venturing on the mountain roads to Teide National Park- beautiful. Luis our coach driver was fantastic- funny, engaging and incredibly skillful on some of the most brutal roads I've ever been on (an amazing part of the trip) All the while with commentary and hilarious antics with Enrico. Such fun. Final stop at the restaurant where you are encouraged to dine but we went to the cafe underneath which was very reasonably priced. All in all the best day out. My children are 12 and 18 and loved every minute. As did we. Couldnt recommend this tour more. Worth every penny. Thank you so much to our guide and driver.

It was a nice trip to see the beautiful places on the island. The trip was at a reasonable pace and there was enough time to take pictures at each stop. When I saw the narrow and winding roads in the mountains with a lot of tourist traffic that we were driving on, I was glad that I didn't have to drive a car individually and was taking the bus.

We booked this tour through Viator and were very satisfied. We would like to express a special thank you to our tour guide Edurne and our driver Rayco. Edurne led the tour excellently and provided information in Spanish, English, German, and French. Everything was understandable, interesting, and very professionally organized. A big compliment also goes to the driver Rayco. The roads in Tenerife are partly very winding and challenging. Nevertheless, he drove the bus safely, calmly, and professionally at all times. Thanks to his experience, we felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. In just one day, we were able to see many beautiful places and gather numerous impressions. Of course, one could spend significantly more time at each location, but then the tour would take much longer. The program was very well organized for a day trip and offered the opportunity to gain a comprehensive impression of the island. During the lunch break, a menu was offered for 20 euros, including drinks. We followed our guide's recommendation and were satisfied. There were both fish and meat dishes available. Those who wish can certainly choose another restaurant. Therefore, we do not find criticism of this offer justified. We have not regretted our decision to take this tour for a single second. Those who want to spend more time at individual locations should perhaps book private excursions or rent a car. This way, one can determine the route and duration of stay themselves. We could see Teide from a distance, which was completely sufficient for us. On a future visit, we would like to explore this part of the island separately. Once again, many thanks to Edurne and Rayco for this wonderful day, the excellent organization, and the many beautiful impressions. Coach trip was good, seeing Teide was amazing even if it was from a distance. The Rock formations at the National Park were amazing. Be prepared to walk a lot. Our bus was parked far from where we were dropped off. The visitor centre was ok, most of it was written in Spanish, and the cafe wasn't open. It was very windy and cold, so dress appropriately. The second part of our excursion took us to a beautiful resort area. We had lunch in a hotel that was mediocre at best, and a buffet so big deal but better than nothing. Our trip to the Botanical Gardens was cancelled due to the high winds, and we spent another hour milling around the resort area. Waste of time would have been happier going back to the ship since this was a long day already. The driver and tour guide did a good job. Would I take this tour again? Yes, but be prepared.

Well worth the money to see this unique volcanic place and Masca is simply amazing just for the coach drivers skill at manoeuvring the bus around the narrow and steep winding road. The views are stunning running commentry on everywhere visited with a stopover for lunch in Tiede national park well worth doing !!

Amazing trip, we had a wonderful day. Pick up on time, friendly driver and guide. Mt Tedie is so worth the trip seeing the amazing landscape on the way up and the rock formations. We stopped at a lovely Spanish restaurant for lunch, €12 for a very tasty main and pudding and a glass of house red, great value for money. ( or 3 course €20) The grand finale of the day was winding through the mountain roads to Masca, the driver was very skilled and we felt very safe in his hands. We met some nice people on the trip to top it off. Don't hesitate to book well worth the money. Highlight of our holiday.
