Wir beginnen unsere Tour im Zentrum von Athen und fahren los durch die Sandstrände und Küstendörfer der idyllischen Athener Riviera. Wir brauchen 1 Stunde und 15, um Cape Sounion zu erreichen

Wir erreichen leicht das sonst schwer zu erreichende Sounion. Sie werden von der berühmten Landschaft, die das Vorgebirge von Sounion umgibt, geblendet sein. In der Zeit der alten Griechen wurde dieser Ort als heiliger Ort verehrt, der den Göttern Poseidon und Athene gewidmet war.
Bewundern Sie den Tempel des Poseidon, der 70 Meter über dem Meer am Rand der Klippe thront. Wandern Sie auf der gesegneten Erde der Sounion, einem der Orte, die in Homers Odyssee besungen werden. Stellen Sie sich auf die gleiche Klippe, von der sich König Aegeus angeblich gestürzt hat. Die Geschichte wird in der griechischen Mythologie erzählt, dass Ägeus seinem Sohn Theseus sagte, wenn er den Minotaurus besiege, sollte er mit Schiffen mit weißen Segeln nach Athen zurückkehren. Theseus vergaß diese Bitte, und als Aegeus die schwarzen Segel von Theseus sah, stürzte er sich verzweifelt von der Sounion. Beobachten Sie den berühmten Sonnenuntergang über diesem legendären Horizont.
Wir machen uns wieder auf den Weg zurück nach Athen. Wir brauchen 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten, um das Zentrum zu erreichen.

The drive to temple of Poseiden is scenic, the tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable and the whole tour is worth to take
It is so beautiful and peaceful. We loved our visit & our guide was great. The restaurant is also great
Sunset was nice and location is beautiful. Temple is small and just like all the others. It is nice to go there but I believe the entrance ticket for this temple should be lower
Amazing trip. You will see breathtaking scenery of Athenian Rivera on your way. The temple is worth visiting as well. Great guide. Overall a great experience
It is a good experience if you want a sort of romantic evening with your thoughts and beloved ones aside....What was not as expected it was the bus that had no rooftop as marketed and the sunset was not actually on sea as we tohought but rather on the continental side, but still the effects were nice...The guide and the driver though were very nice and helpful, they compensated everything with their smile, they even let us get down in Vougliameni where we spent the night :)
The pickup at the meeting point in front of the Parliament was chaotic; many buses were stopping, and the guide did not have any identifying element of the tour. The audio guides provided just enough information, the departure and arrival times were respected, and there was punctuality. The temple is more beautiful to see from the outside than from the inside; the entrance fee of 20 euros seems excessive, for example, it costs the same as the ancient Agora of Athens, which is much larger and has a complete museum. The guide did not provide much, I would not repeat this excursion.
Great to have a guided tour to tell you all about it before visiting. It’s about 1.5 hours from Athens by bus so not something I’d want to do on my own especially after sunset. Beautiful watching the sunset from here
We had a fabulous Acropolis , Parthenon Tour today with an exceptional tour guide Orestis who certainly knew his history and was extremely funny 😁 definitely recommended.
The view from the temple and leading up to it was a serene experience. Finding a rock to sit on the cliff side and looking out into the sea, was just a perfect moment.
Magnificent sunset, you have plenty of time to visit the temple and enjoy until sunset. It is possible to buy the entrance ticket directly on site (cheaper than buying it with the excursion). A small downside, the audio guide along the way is quite mediocre.
