It was a lovely walking tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We were not disappointed.
Our guide Rebecca was amazing!! (not Welton, but equally incredible) -- she was full of information and a wonderful storyteller, took great photos of us in the locations, and was incredible knowledgable about the show & Richmond itself! We loved it, and would recommend the tour to anyone who loves Ted Lasso
Matt was our awesome guide. He was prompt joining us at our designated meeting place. My wife has seen Ted Lasso at least three times through but I am only a one time through viewer. Matt was very keen at determining our level of Tedheadness and kept the tour interesting and informative without me feeling completely lost. I also really appreciated Matt’s local knowledge of Richmond which he offered up in a timely manner. Overall, we received a first rate, personalized tour and would highly recommend the “Original “ Ted tour. Thanks again Matt! Be Curious!
Delightful. Very personalized. Great with communication before and after. You can tell that the people involved in this small company care about Ted Lasso, their hometown of Richmond, and providing a great experience for their patrons.
We had a wonderful private tour with Rebecca. She was personable, funny and informative!! We saw so many fun filming locations, hidden “Easter eggs” and learned fun facts!! Richmond is a great area. Highly recommend this original tour for any Ted Lasso fans!! You won’t regret it.
We had a total immersion experience with Matt as our guide. It was remarkable to see the locations in Richmond where Ted was filmed. Matt could recite episode and scene, and then tell us the tricks used in editing to create what we saw and remembered. We have seen the series 3 times, but were very impressed with the tour. Apple tv is not widely viewed in the UK, so I think many in town are mystified why we would come to see filming locations. Believe!
Booked in early March. Received numerous confirmation and reminder emails and texts from Viator including the day before and day of the tour. The Bad. Our tour guide never showed up. He did not respond to text communication via Viator so we asked Viator to find out what was going on. Viator was also unable to make contact with the tour operator so we requested a refund. The tour guide did eventually respond saying Viator did not pass the reservation to him nor did he apologize for the mix up. The Good. Viator worked with the tour guide to get our refund processed in full within 24hrs. Viator has a good communication system and they were prompt (about 1 minute) to respond to our inquiries. We did a little Googling and found that everything in the tour was within a 15 minute walk of the meet-up Richmond train station, so we had our own tour seeing the on location front door of Ted's apartment, the walk to the street benches, The Princes Head Pub which was the Crown and Anchor Pub in the series, and Richmond Green Park. There is even a Ted Lasso shop a couple doors down from Ted's "apartment" door where you can buy jerseys and pretty much anything else they could put Ted Lasso name on. In closing, I recommend Viator, I do not recommend this Ted Lasso tour.
Fantastic tour! Our guide, Rebecca was a true Ted Lasso fan, just like we all are. She showed us so many cool Ted spots and was full of interesting facts from the actual filming of the show. Rebecca enthusiasts our questions and showed us Ted’s Richmond. We had a blast. At her suggestion, we booked the Ted Lasso table for dinner at The Prince’s Head, post tour for some pints and delicious fish and chips. We’d recommend this tour 100%!
Emmi was the perfect host of this tour! Informative, energetic, sense of humor, honesty, & patient! She obviously worked very hard to make this the go-to tour of Richmond. Every where we went, some local would call out her name with a hello which explains her own personal local fame & magnetic personality. The sites were exciting to see as a Tedhead, & learning the backstage trivia was fascinating. This tour was worth it.
This was a great experience and specially if you are a big fan of the show like Me. My guide (Vic) was awesome and her joy was contagious. She explained every detail and every scene like if you were part of it. Highly recommended.
