Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route : Private Tour zum Weltrand

Beschreibung

Had a lovely day with Taketo. He picked us up from the hotel and made the day simple and stress free. He also knows an excellent local bakery on the way where we picked up lunch. Taketo knew all the best bits to look at and how to avoid the crowds.
Booked a day trip with Taketo to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. He picked us up from our hotel in matsumuto and drove to the start of route. Taketo was warm and friendly with our kids and spoke good English. He also helped my elderly father during some parts of the walk and was patient with us throughout the entire trip. He takes great photos with his camera! At the end of the trip, he offered to call to change our dinner reservation and drove us straight to our dinner place! A very honest and humbling experience!
Great experience and one of a kind travel experience. Amazing views along the Tateyama - Kurobe Alpine Route and highlight was the snow wall at Mt. Tateyama! Highly recommend this one of a kind tour. Our guide Chris was amazing in explaining the areas, very helpful and made our tour memorable.
We had a great time with tour guide his name was Endo. He is known as a professional travel tour guide. He has traveled the world and seen many places with his experience and his professionalism. He demonstrated the most greatest adventure. My family has ever been on from ice snow, high peaks, and looking down at the valleys and being at 3000 m it was simply amazing if I could do the tour again I would, but it is a very huge tour. It was worth the money. The bus ride was excellent the amenities as well as the options we took lots of breaks. We learned a lot of things historically about the Alpine, the Dam and what it’s used for it was extremely educational and very fun for my family. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever done thank you so much for your hospitality and being in a wonderful country like Japan.
I wish I could give more than a 5 star here. We had the BEST day out with Shuhei. He collected us from our hotel in his car and guided us through every step of the way on this amazing trip. There are many changes to the transport process to get up to see everything, and he made sure we got the best viewing spots where possible. It certainly helped having a local guide who knew what to expect. We stopped off to buy lunch and coffee on the way rather than buying lunch at the restaurants on site as he knew they would be super busy. We got a personal guided walk and could stop wherever and whenever we wanted to, whether to take photos, build a snowman or have an ice cream in the snow! We were very glad not to be part of one of the big tour groups as we saw them getting herded past every time. Shuhei was very easy to talk with, and his English is very good. He also took lots of photos for us to add to our own. On the trip home, we stopped for coffee again and when we got back, my gloves had dropped out of my pocket, and he even made the effort to bring them back to our hotel. All in all, this was an amazing day and we are very, very happy with our choice of tour. When working out the prices, remember that this tour does not include the entry tickets, but even with them included, this was great value for money for an incredible experience with a very personal touch to it.
We had a fantastic experience on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine walk with Chris. I was nervous about making the walk so late in the year…and doing the route ‘backwards’; we decided to use a guide. We chose Omotenashi Travel by luck and were so happy we did! Chris was fantastic in every respect. He was prompt in responding to my questions before our tour and provided very useful information on what to expect on the day and guidance on what to wear for the range of weather conditions we might have. He arrived on time and very well-prepared; on arrival at the top of Mt. Murodo, he magicked two pairs of Grippy shoe covers out of his backpack, so we would not slip in the icy conditions. After our wind-blown walk, he guided us to a delicious lunch. We enjoyed Chris’s professional and approachable attitude in equal measure. He was informative, knew the area and trail well, and was as interested and enthralled by the scenery and wildlife as we were. The scenery and weather were perfect; we couldn’t have asked for a better day or for better company. We wish we had him for every tour and would recommend him in a heartbeat. Well done Chris, we’ll be in touch for our next visit.
