Garnik was an incredibly kind and entertaining driver and tour guide. The 13-hour day together went seamlessly, we hit all the sites that we wanted to, and we ate a delicious meal that he booked for us. You should absolutely hire his services for all of your travel outside Yerevan, and you can be sure that we will do so again one day soon!
We had a great, fun and memorable travel experience in Armenia because of Sergey (Private Tour In Armenia). We customize our trip and he did extra mile to accommodate us and to make sure we covered everything on the list.
An utterly amazing trip and well worth the money. We started early in the fog which lasted most of the trip! We missed Shaki (the waterfall) because of the fog, But we did see Mount Ararat (various views on the way out and the way back), we did go on the cablecar ride (still in fog!) and we did love the monasteries and all the history. Our last stop at Noravank was outstanding. So much history! The roads on this trip were great so dont let the long hours turn you off what was our best trip in Armenia. Remember that the driver is only that, not a guide. So read up on the places you will stop and check with the driver that you are at a certain place. We had a bad experience with our first driver smelling of smoke and no English language so we enquired about this before the trip and were ensured we would okay. Our driver was a beautiful man, great driver and very approachable. I'm sorry that I cannot remember his name. Perhaps a tip for this company would be to have the name of the driver in the car so passengers could see it and use the correct spelling in reviews.
All 3 monasteries very beautiful and different. Waterfall very nice. Excellent driver and good car. We arrived at the wine tasting at 10:15am. It was breakfast time so we did not taste anything!!! Could not see anything from the teleferic because of rain and total white fog. The driver didn t speak English at all (in a 12 hour tour!!!). Another driver offered our driver to call him everytime we had a question. We think it is very dangerous to use the phone and drive at the same time, so we declined. Bringing your own lunch is a good idea.
The tour was amazing. Our tour guide and driver was Sergei. He was fantastic and was able to keep us on schedule. We got to experience everything we planned and more! Thank you so much!
Our guide Garnik was great and very knowledgeable. He even took us to an extra wine tasting by a local where we were able to buy fruits, wine, and sweets.
The transportation was not complete as claimed: we had to pay the tickets to Tatev monastery ourselves (almost 60$). There had been no wine tasting ecc at all. The driver didn’t know a world of English, nor Russian, which made everything more difficult. Moreover, Viator costume service didn’t even try to refund the tickets or apologize for the poor experience. Unlucky, since the landscapes were amazing.
Dear costumer I am really very sad to hear that you are not happy. But let's try to find out why you are not happy. 1. You complain about transportation. So you had a very comfortable minivan that day. 2.You complain about cable car tickets. If you checked your booking there is inclusions and exclusions and there is not any entrance fee or cable car fee in the inclusions and I don't understand why you depended from me to pay your cable car fee. 3.Yes driver doesn't speak English but he speaks perfect Russian. I apologize that he didn't speak English. 4.Yes you skipped wine tasting because that day tatever aerial tramway station was working in a rush and we needed to reach there on time to be able to get tickets, otherwise you would wait long.I apologize for that. I know you are very unhappy because of the tickets that I didn't buy for you,but that is really not included and I didn't charge you for that.you were charged only for transport only.I wish you all the best. Sergey.
Sergey made our trip an absolute pleasure. He is one of the best guides we have ever had. The itinerary is beautiful and this trip was super comfortable.
The best tour in Armenia. Sergey and his brother are really professional, hands-on, and provide the best experience. 100% satisfied and recommended
A private tour for 10 of us from Yerevan city to Tatev, with stops at Shaki waterfall and Hin Areni wineyard was professionally arranged. Aro our driver and friendly guide was on time, drove safely and handled us with patience and smile . Water is provided in the vehicle and we were allowed to make couple or quick stops at scenic spots along the drive You get excellent professional service for the money you pay.
