Taormina und Castelmola

Well guided excursions and then very good operators, thanks in particular to the 3 who followed us: Francesco, Andrea and Lorenzo. We did 3 tours , we were in Taormina-Castemola , Syracuse-Noto and Mount Etna . Nice people ,great explanations and put tourists at ease .. Oh, congratulations. If I come back here, I will know where to turn for new experiences

Booked our tour with Lemontour Catania. Worst tour ever experienced! First they changed the agreed on pick up point only 20 minutes before departure. Although we managed to be there on time they didn't show up claiming that we gave them a wrong phone number so the guide couldn't reach us. So the guide who left without us had to come back. Then the van was about to fall apart. The sliding door didn't close any more properly so the rain and airstream came in while driving. It even went totally open once. The suspension didn't work either. It was a very uncomfortable ride! And third, the guide was just a rather unfriendly driver. In Taormina he left us out of the van and told us the direction for the attractions to go.

The organization assured us that they could organize the activity tomorrow but, unlike others obviously, we have already planned our visits several days in advance. Thanks to your pitiful organization for ruining our day; all the tours having started, we lost a day during our short stay! Never again with you! Sandra was an excellent guide for our trip to Taormina and Castelmura. There were only two of us on the tour, so we were in her own car. I had toured Taormina from a cruise a few years ago, but had no idea from that tour how much I missed and how much there was to see. The area is spectacular and we learned a lot from Sandra. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful day with an excellent guide, Manuele. This was so much better then renting a car and driving on the twisty narrow roads. The towns are beautiful, unique, colorful and our guide brought it all to life.
