Zunächst haben Sie die Wahl zwischen einer gemeinsamen Kleingruppentour oder einer privaten Tour nur für Ihre Gruppe. Die Tour führt Sie in das historische Stadtzentrum von Taormina und ist der ideale Ort, um einen echten Vorgeschmack auf Taormina zu bekommen. Genießen Sie das köstliche Essen, genießen Sie die lebendige Kultur und treffen Sie die Menschen, die so viele wunderbare Essens- und Weintraditionen am Leben erhalten. Treffen Sie sich an der Porta Messina, dem Eingang des alten Tors des Corso Umberto, finden Sie die traditionellen Essensplätze in der Stadt auf einer 2 Stunden und halben Tour! Unter der Leitung eines lokalen Fortgeschrittener besuchen Sie 3 verschiedene Orte : - Im ersten werden Sie mit einem Prosecco-Glas begrüßt. Hier probieren Sie verschiedene Proben frischer SEAFOOD, begleitet von typisch sizilianischem Weißwein. - Im zweiten Veranstaltungsort werden Sie einige Proben von sizilianischen LANDFOOD probieren, begleitet von typisch sizilianischem Rotwein. - Dritter Veranstaltungsort wird eine typisch sizilianische Patisserie für sizilianische Gebäcke & Liköre sein Probieren Sie eine Vielzahl köstlicher regionaler Spezialitäten. What a brilliant day. Lunch at Parco Statella featured some of the best food and wine we have had in Italy. Small group of 8 including Swiss, Lithuania, England & Australia...great people, great guide, great day
Rosario (our host) was very gracious and super friendly. He was full of knowledge about Sicily and worked hard to make the tour experience excellent for everyone. Also, the food & wine was amazing and plentiful.

A wonderful experience, we enjoyed learning all about the food culture of Taormina with Gerry, he was very rehearsed, very welcoming and had many connections with the local restaurants . The best part was getting to meet others and tasting foods we didn't even know existed!
This tour was absolutely fantastic. I’m a big fan of doing food tours in the areas where I travel. Our guide, Gerry, was absolutely fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable and fun to have a conversation with. He helped introduce us to great local foods, wines and dessert. All of it is worth a try. We also were able to learn about some of the monuments and history of Taormina. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a lover of food and would like to know more about the area.
Alfredo was an absolute book of knowledge on Sicilian culture, traditions, & foods. He took us to 3 wonderful local restaurants. We began with traditional appetizers & wines. Continued to an Enoteca for more wine and a delicious plate of cheeses and meats. Lastly, we concluded the evening with a delicious cannoli, cookies, limoncello & a local almond wine liquor! A must when in Taormina!!!
We almost had to cancel our Food tour due to a last minute Lufthansa strike which changed our flight and arrival time E. Taormina Food and Wine work with us to try and find a date and time which worked. Alfredo was is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide who led us through a very good food Asia e and Sicilian experience. We high recommend this tour if your travel plans include Taormina or Sicily.
It was a great evening. It was easy to find our guide at the meeting point. We had a small group, just 4 of us, which made it nice and personal. Our guide, Jerry, was very fun. He even showed us other points of interest as we were walking to our stops for our food and wine tastings. The places where we stopped were friendly and accommodating. The wines and food were great. There was no skimping on either, generous portions.
The food was disappointing compared to previous food tours we have been on. The meeting place was not where they said it would be but further down the street which was not helpful.

Could You please re-check if You have posted on the right business? we have only 1 simple meeting place (porta messina arch) very easy to find and we never changed (Nor moved of 10 meters) it in 10 years of Tours. Maybe You took another Tour company? Have a great day
We like to do a food tour every country we visit and this was one of the very best we’ve ever been to. The guide was very knowledgeable and the tour itself was very organized. And every restaurant we went to there were seats reserved for us, and the food was very representative and very delicious.
