We booked two Cambridge tours with Tatiana, and both times we were absolutely delighted. What impressed us most was that the tours were completely different — Tatiana adapts the material and presentation to the audience, which makes the experience feel very personal and engaging. Private tour with Tangential was the highlight of our weekend break in Cambridge. In fact we only decided to travel there after confirming a booking with Tatiana. In a few hours we got much better understanding of the University and its history than from two days wandering by ourselves and reading online guides beforehand. As a London based family with kids 16, 13, 10, and hopefully future university applicants, we had very specific interests and questions and Tatiana could address them all - things like history of science in Cambridge, colleges, mathematical notations of Newton vs Leibnitz, relating to wider European religious and cultural context.

We wanted to visit Cambridge the first time we visited the UK, but somehow it never worked out. Then the opportunity arose, and we immediately took advantage of it. But the biggest bonus for us was our guide to this wonderful city, Tatyana. Having lived there for a long time, she accurately conveyed the history of this amazing place, and very competently and clearly immersed us in the nuances associated with Trinity College. We even went inside, seeing and hearing all the most interesting things! We also visited other interesting places. The three hours flew by. Huge thanks to Tatyana for the wonderful tour!
