Beschreibung
Tanah Lot bedeutet in der balinesischen Sprache „Land [im] Meer“. Der Tempel liegt in Tabanan, etwa 20 Kilometer (12 Meilen) von Denpasar entfernt, und steht auf einem großen Felsen vor der Küste, der im Laufe der Jahre kontinuierlich von der Meeresflut geformt wurde. Der Tanah Lot-Tempel wurde erbaut und ist seit Jahrhunderten Teil der balinesischen Mythologie. Der Tempel ist einer von sieben Meerestempeln an der balinesischen Küste. Jeder der Meerestempel wurde in Sichtweite des nächsten errichtet und bildete eine Kette entlang der Südwestküste. Neben der balinesischen Mythologie wurde der Tempel maßgeblich vom Hinduismus beeinflusst.

Taman Ayun Temple
Der Taman-Ayun-Tempel bedeutet wörtlich übersetzt „schöner Garten“ und gilt allgemein als einer der attraktivsten Tempel auf Bali. Der Taman-Ayun-Tempel liegt in einem wunderschönen Park mit Bäumen und Teichen in der Nähe des Dorfes Mengwi im Süden von Bali, etwa 8 km südwestlich von Ubud und 18 km nordwestlich von Denpasar. Pura Taman Ayun wurde 1634 vom Raja von Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu, erbaut. Es handelt sich um einen sogenannten Pura Kawiten oder Familientempel, einen besonderen Tempel, in dem die vergöttlichten Vorfahren der Raja-Dynastie von Mengwi und wichtige Götter anderer Tempel geehrt werden.

Tanah Lot
Very prompt pick-up at the hotel reception...then take to Tanah Lot and other destinations. An overcast day...lovely walking around and through the ocean water.. Stunning views.. Take thongs/flip flops or shoes you can walk through the ocean water..

Beautiful Bali - Don’t Miss This Tour!
My husband and I absolutely loved the Tanah Lot Temple Excursion Tour. We highly recommend this - it is a must do experience in Bali. If you want peace, calm, exquisite beauty, and sunsets, this is the tour for you. Both temples were breathtaking. Our driver Nyoman was so kind and very patient in the busy Bali traffic. He told us all the best photo spots and offered to take many photos of us. We loved his calm demeanor which added even more serenity to the peaceful temple surroundings. You won’t want to miss it! 🌅

Beautiful Bali - Unforgettable Tour
We had an amazing time with the Tanah Lot Sunset Private Tour. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. The temples were not only breathtakingly beautiful but filled with peace, calm and serenity. This is a must do Bali experience. Amazing time
We had an excellent time today. Nyoman Buedi is an exceptional tour guide. We had an unfortunate incident and were delayed, he waited 2 hours for us. He took great pictures and even showed us some cool coffee shops along the way in addition to our booking. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Bali
The driver/guide, Nik was very tentative on what we needed, on time, guided us through the sights, waited patiently for us to take all those beautiful photos of the temples. We had a wonderful time, although the traffic was bad and it was cloudy no dramatic sunset. We highly recommend this tour and Nik as your guide.
