On November 28th, I participated in a bar-hopping tour of Yanagawa-cho, Takasaki City. This area is lined with many independently owned restaurants, including shops specializing in yakiniku, yakitori, soba, tempura, sashimi, and sushi. There are an incredible number of restaurants, from spacious arcades to back alleys where cars can't enter. The area's appeal lies in its carefully prepared menus and the warm hospitality of the staff, which you won't find at the chain restaurants you'll find in front of the station. After dinner, there are also bars where you can enjoy karaoke and music pubs with live musical performances, offering wonderful experiences you won't find in other towns.
We enjoyed the city of Takasaki with friends and chose this hotel for our stay. The staff were very kind and made our stay even more comfortable. There are English-speaking staff, and they are all very friendly, so communication wasn't an issue. There are many beautiful and cozy places to stay. The happy hour service is excellent. I'll definitely be back.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooftop offers a spectacular view overlooking the entire city, and the service was attentive and impeccable. I especially enjoyed the happy hour where I could relax with a beer. The amenities were excellent, including access to a Dyson hair dryer, and the bed was incredibly luxurious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
English Review Style Translation I went bar-hopping in Yanagawa-cho in Takasaki, Gunma — the area where a Catherine Deneuve film was once shot. The neighborhood has a nostalgic, old-town charm mixed with newly built buildings, creating a slightly surreal atmosphere. People felt very approachable, and both the food and drinks were excellent. That was the overall impression I had. I stayed in the special room at the nearby Grand View Takasaki, and I really liked the atmosphere. The room had a beautiful design that incorporated Japanese elements in a tasteful way. It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again.
The drinks were delicious. The food was also delicious. I had fun getting to know the staff and customers. The hotel was also very clean and I was very satisfied!
