Das historische geschlossene Gebiet, in dem blutige Schlachten ausgetragen und Verträge geschlossen wurden, war das Zentrum für vier der größeren Mogulkaiser. Unser nächster Halt ist das Interlaced Stone Mausoleum von Imtad-Ud-Daula.
Der lebhafte NurJahan, die Frau von Kaiser Jehangir, baute und entwarf Imtad Ud Daula. Säule des Reiches, in Erinnerung an ihren Vater Ghias Beg im Jahre 1622 n. Chr. Getting up early was definitely worth it. When we stood in front of the Taj Mahal this morning, we were really impressed because this building is just so incredibly beautiful and impressive in its own way. Especially in the sunrise mood it comes into its own again. Especially the aspect that it was built out of love is incredibly beautiful. Of course, it gets very crowded relatively quickly and many tourists are then there. The whole details in the building are just unique to look at though and our guide was really incredibly good and told us a lot about the history of the Taj Mahal and was especially very patient with us when we wanted to take lots of photos:) Thanks to Zameer our guide, that was such a nice day and thanks to Khan our good driver. We could also take as much time as we wanted at the Taj Mahal which was very pleasant for us as we had no stress. Then we went on to the Agra Fort and here too we could take as much time as we wanted and explore everything in peace. We were always very fascinated by all the small details, paintings and stones etc. At the end we were still with the baby Taj Mahal, so called the Itmad-ud-Daula and it was really simple the small version of the Taj Mahal, without many people, very quiet with a lot of attention to detail. In summary, a very impressive and recommendable tour.
The tour was absolutely amazing. The Taj Mahal is a stunning building, full of grace and beauty. There were quite a few people, but our guide Zameer was wonderful. He took us to the best photo spots, helped us navigate through the crowds while still getting perfect shots, and shared so much interesting history along the way. My friends and I had a great time and can highly recommend this tour and especially Zameer as a guide.

My last trip to India was almost 2 decades ago. Last October (2019) I visited Delhi to give a lecture in Delhi. During free time I visited Agra and Taj Mahal, that was served by Exquisite Xperiences.
