Der aktive Vulkan Bromo liegt in einer mondähnlichen Landschaft von mythischen Proportionen und herrlichem Charme. Der Vulkan und seine Umgebung bieten herrliche Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es steht in einem graugrau-grauen Eschen-Sandmeer, umgeben von den hoch aufragenden Klippen am Kraterrand. Es bildet eine mondähnliche Landschaft. Während die Savanne - während der Regenzeit flaschengrün und in der Trockenzeit goldfarben - im Süden an Bromo grenzt. Der Berg Bromo - 2392 m hoch - ist einer von drei Vulkanen in einer alten Caldera, die sich über 10 km erstreckt. Nur Bromo's Kegel ist aktiv. Der Berg Semeru ist mit 3676 m Javas höchster Gipfel und blüht hinter dem Bromberg auf dem Aussichtspunkt Penanjakan nördlich des Bromberges. Semeru ist auch ein aktiver Vulkan und wirft seine Asche alle 20 Minuten. Wenn auch Bromos Krater raucht, sind die Aussichten einfach erhaben.

Reiseverlauf
Ein Jeep holt Sie zwischen 00:00 und 00:30 Uhr in Ihrer Unterkunft in Malang ab. In 2 bis 3 Stunden erreichen Sie den Berg Penanjakan. Da es zwischen 0 und 10 °C ist, erwartet Sie ein lokaler warmer Snack mit heißem Kaffee oder Tee. Wenn die Sonne aufgeht, können Sie Ihren Platz auswählen. Von Ihrem frühen Morgengetränk bis zum Aussichtspunkt sind es nur 100m zu Fuß. Die Wetterbedingungen und die Aktivität des Vulkans bestimmen Ihre Morgenansichten, aber die Aussicht über diese mondähnliche Landschaft ist immer spektakulär, wenn die Sonne aufgeht.
Nach Sonnenaufgang - etwa um 06:00 Uhr - geht es weiter zum schwarzen vulkanischen Sandsee. Dieses Sandmeer umgibt den Berg Bromo teilweise und ist grau-schwarz. Viele kleine Flüsse durchqueren dieses Sandmeer. Sie können Ihr Frühstück an einem Ort in diesem Meer zusammen mit der atemberaubenden Umgebung genießen, bevor Sie zum Parkplatz in der Nähe des Tempels Luhur Poten weiterfahren.
Der Luhur Poten Tempel ist ein hinduistischer Tempel im Sandmeer, der den Berg Bromo umgibt. Dieser Tempel wird noch aktiv genutzt. Wenn Zeremonien abgehalten werden, können Sie frei zusehen. Ansonsten ist der Tempel geschlossen, aber sicherlich ist es ein atemberaubender Anblick im Sandmeer. Der Jeep wird in der Nähe dieses Tempels parken, um Ihre Wanderung zum Kraterrand des aktiven Vulkans Bromo zu beginnen.
Es sind dann 45 Minuten zu Fuß zum Gipfel des Berges Bromo. Wenn Sie keine Lust haben zu laufen, können Sie ein Pferd mieten. Vergessen Sie nicht, hin und wieder mit dem Gehen aufzuhören. Schauen Sie über die Schultern, während sich die Ansichten ständig ändern. Mount Bromo ist ein aktiver Vulkan in einer antiken Caldera mit einer Breite von 10 km. Das gräuliche Sandmeer und die Savanne - in der Regenzeit flaschengrün - umgeben Bromo.
Sobald Sie wieder im Auto sind, geht es weiter in die Savanne direkt hinter dem Bromo, die auch Tengger-Caldera genannt wird. Es heißt, die Savanne sei einst ein großer Kratersee gewesen. Er trocknete aus und es entstand ein großes Spektrum an verschiedenen felsigen und sandigen Strukturen. Die Savanne ist heute ein großflächiges Flachland mit Büschen und einigen Hügeln, darunter die Bukit Teletubbies. Je nach Jahreszeit ist die Savanne sehr grün oder goldfarben.
Auf dem Rückweg nach Malang können Sie den Pelangi Wasserfall besuchen. Nach der Savanne ist es eine kurze Fahrt zum Parkplatz des Wasserfalls. Dann ist es eine 30 min Wanderung bergab. Pelangi bedeutet Regenbogen. Wenn die Sonne einmal scheint, kann man einen Regenbogen über dem Wasserfall sehen.
Jago Tempel ist klein und zwischen 1275 und 1300 gebaut. Es wird angenommen, dass es die Begräbnisstätte von König Wisnuwardhana, dem vierten König des Singosari-Königreichs ist. Vom Pelangi-Wasserfall zum Jago-Tempel dauert es etwa 30 Min. Ihre Rückkehrzeit in Malang hängt von der Zeit ab, die Sie auf dem Rückweg nach Malang an den verschiedenen Objekten verbringen. Wir haben keinen Zeitplan, die Zeit, die Sie für die Objekte verbringen, ist Ihre Wahl. Im Durchschnitt sind Reisende gegen 12:00 Uhr wieder in Malang.

I booked my Mount Bromo trip through Shelter Hostel Malang, not only was it easy and convenient to book with them but the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. This tour was spectacular, I did it twice as the first one touched us one cloudy day and we could not see anything and the second, two days later, was wonderful and worth all. What beautiful views you have from the viewpoint and then walk through the crater of the Brome listening to its roars, unforgettable. Just look at the weather forecast to make sure it’s not all covered and if you can avoid a better weekend as that’s when more people visit these places. Also from Malang take another excursion to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, very beautiful and the funny thing is that you go down a waterfall to reach the Ace Waterfall. And from Banyuwangi, take the tour to Kawa Ijen to see the blue lava, the climb to this place was challenging but paid for everything with the views and experience up there. Excellent company was a success to go with Smartine Indonesia Travel, all excursions included, roundtrip transportation, water and breakfast.

We had A very good time visiting Madakaripura waterfall and Bromo. Due to private circumstances unfortunately no IJen. Our guide and taxi driver Dodo was polite, helpfull and A very good guide. Drop at harbor for Bali was welk planned.
Had a great time! We had the Malang- Bromo tour, with Bali drop-off. Everything went well and just like the time schedule. They choosed what was the best for us to do and they did great! Thanks to Adit our tour guide, he was the best!! He made our time 100 times better :) And ofcourse Johan our driver, he did great to bring us safe everywhere. They where the nicest people! Really recommend this tour if you want to go to Bali from Malang in one day and have a daytrip to Bromo also! (Good breakfast included by the way ;))
This requires some condition. The tour consists of 2 parts. Sunrise on a hilltop and a visit to the crater bromo. You have to get out of bed early before sunrise. The view is nice but not so spectacular to get up early. Front best style walk after the 4 wheel drive. Visit to the Bromo crater requires condition because of the style long staircase but also the climb to the stairs. You can rent a horse for 200,000 rupiah. View of the crater is impressive as are the sulfur fumes

But mostly people choose the sunrise so they can do the sharing trip and get the cheaper price like you did. Depart early for teh sunrise is necessary because the view point is crowded. If you depart later, it's gonna be traffic in the view point and you will be late for the sunrise. You also need to have your spot to wait for the sunrise and it will be difficult to find a good spot when everything is already full. Awesome day getting picked up at 12:30am and going until 12pm. The sunrise was an amazing start to the day and getting up close to the crater is a must do not to mention all the stops in between. Looks like another world at the top! Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
