Uplisziche, übersetzt „Festung des Herrn“, ist eine Höhlenstadtfestung, die auf einem Felsmassiv am linken Ufer des Flusses Mtkwari liegt. Sie stammt aus dem 1.-2. Jahrtausend v. Chr. Uplisziche war in der hellenistischen und spätantiken Zeit ein wichtiges religiöses, politisches und kulturelles Zentrum. Joseph Stalins Museum in Gori – Stalin stammt ursprünglich aus Georgien, war während des Zweiten Weltkriegs Generalsekretär der Kommunistischen Partei und einer der einflussreichsten Diktatoren der Neuzeit. Das Museum zeigt Stalins Haus – eine Hütte, in der er geboren wurde. Chroniken von Georgia. Nur wenige Gäste der Stadt besuchen es, obwohl die semantische Belastung und die großen Ausmaße Ihre Aufmerksamkeit und Zeit wert sind. Das grandiose Ensemble monumentaler Skulpturen „Geschichte Georgiens“ wurde von dem Tifliser Genie Zurab Tsereteli geschaffen.

Uplistsikhe, übersetzt Festung des Herrn, ist eine Höhlenstadtfestung, die auf einem Felsmassiv am linken Ufer des Flusses Mtkvari liegt. Es geht zurück auf das Jahrtausend I-II vor Christus. Uplistsikhe war ein wichtiges religiöses, politisches und kulturelles Zentrum in der hellenistischen und späten Antike. Die Besucher können noch immer zwischen den alten Straßen, dem Felsengeschnitzten Theater, den königlichen Sälen, der Apotheke, den heidnischen Tempeln und den christlichen Kirchen spazieren, während die Überreste von Getreidespeichern und großen Tonweinbehältern einen Hinweis auf das tägliche Leben der Einwohner geben.
Joseph Stalins Museum in Gori - Stalin ursprünglich Georgier, war Generalsekretär der Kommunistischen Partei während des Zweiten Weltkriegs und einer der einflussreichsten Diktatoren der Neuzeit. Das Museum zeigt Stalins Haus - eine Hütte, in der er geboren wurde. Sein gepanzerter Eisenbahnwagen und eine Statue, die bis 2010 auf dem Hauptplatz von Gori umstritten war, gehörten Stalin außerdem viele Gegenstände, darunter einige seiner Büromöbel, seine persönlichen Habseligkeiten und Geschenke, die er im Laufe der Jahre gemacht hatte. Es gibt auch viele Illustrationen in Form von Dokumentationen, Fotografien, Gemälden und Zeitungsartikeln.
Chroniken von Georgia. Die Hauptstadt Georgiens, Tiflis, ist für mehrere beeindruckende Sehenswürdigkeiten bekannt. Darunter befinden sich die Festung Narikala, die Mutter von Kartli, die Zminda-Sameba-Kathedrale und das größte Denkmal „Geschichte Georgiens“. Nur wenige Gäste der Stadt besuchen es, obwohl die semantische Belastung und die großen Ausmaße Ihre Aufmerksamkeit und Zeit wert sind. Das grandiose Ensemble monumentaler Skulpturen „Geschichte Georgiens“ wurde von dem Tifliser Genie Zurab Tsereteli geschaffen. Er ist ein weltberühmter Bildhauer und Künstler, der viele Denkmäler in verschiedenen Ländern geschaffen hat, aber dieses Denkmal gilt als eines seiner besten Werke. Die Errichtung des Denkmals dauerte 20 Jahre, aber leider ist es noch nicht fertiggestellt. Der Skulptur fehlen noch einige Elemente und die Werkzeuge des Meisters warten auf ihr lang erwartetes Finale.

Poorly prepared. No description of what to expect. Way too much Russian was spoken in relation to the participants. Way too much admission at the Lenin Museum, which had to be paid additionally. But a really great driver!
An excellent tour, well led, informative and a complete pleasure from start to finish. Uplistsikhe Caves were very interesting and the luch was tasty. Gori was fascinating for anyone interested in the history of the vile Stalin - I'm not sure Stalin fridge magnets should be a thing. Finally, the Georgia Chronicles offered impressive views over the reservoir/lake, as as being a well presented piece of outdoor art.

Amazing experience visiting Gori - birthplace of Stalin and knowing his history. Chronicles of Georgia and Uplisitike cave was icing on the cake with it’s spectacular view. Splendid guide with good knowledge - Thanks to Nino !

It was q great experience. The length and planning of the visit is well structured taking care of all the factors. I loved our tour guide Ms. NINO, this was my 3rd tour with her and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. There were 2 stops on this trip that required us to pay additional for entry tickets, which being informed beforehand we were prepared for the same. I would definitely love to tour with you guys again.
