Einer der Hauptgründe für einen Besuch in Shahrisabz ist die Besichtigung des Gebirgspasses und des ländlichen Gebiets Usbekistans. Die Straße beginnt mit den Weinbergen, Obstbäumen, Gemüse und Sohn. Langsam ändert sich die Höhe und die Felder werden durch Hügel und schließlich durch Rocky Mountains ersetzt. Der „Teshik Tosh“ oder „Rock with the Hole“ ist die erste Station, um die unglaubliche Arbeit von Mutter Natur zu erkunden. Der legendäre Film „Apachen“ mit dem berühmten Gojko Mitic wurde wegen der Ähnlichkeit mit der amerikanischen Südwest-Prärie am selben Ort gedreht.

Ak Saray Palace (Weißer Palast). Die Dimensionen des Gebäudes lassen sich an den Tortürmen ablesen: Die beiden Türme waren 50 m hoch und hatten einen Bogen mit einer Spannweite von 22 m. Die Gebäude wurden im 16. Jahrhundert zerstört. im Auftrag des Herrschers von Buchara, Abdullah Khan.
1435 wurde die Kok-Gumbaz-Moschee (der „Blaue Dom“) gegenüber dem Mausoleum des Kulyal auf derselben Achse errichtet. Die Inschrift auf dem Portal berichtet über den Bau durch Ulugbek im Auftrag seines Vaters Shah Rukh. Es spielte die Rolle der Juma-Moschee, dh der Freitagsmoschee von Shahrisabz.
Die Schaffung eines architektonischen Ensembles der Dorut-Tilavat-Medresse geht hauptsächlich auf die Regierungszeit von Ulugbek zurück. Zunächst wurde ein Kuppelmausoleum über dem Grab von Scheich Kul auf den Überresten einiger früherer Gebäude errichtet. Machen Sie tolle Fotos mit der gigantischen blauen Kuppel über der Freitagsmoschee und den komplizierten Bögen.
Hier treffen Sie viele Einheimische und vor allem Hochzeitsfeiern. Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum des neu gebauten Parks mit viel Grün und Blumen. In einem der "Chayhanas" (traditionellen Teehäuser) können Sie ein fantastisches Eis genießen mit geschnitzten Holzsäulen.

The guide explained well the history and told interesting facts The driver was really nice and caring and had amazing driving skills and the mountain restaurant where we went was amazing I also liked drivers music playlist which made the car journey enjoyable Really nice day spent in their company Thank you both👌

There are 2 options, one is purely a driver, the other a guide. I chose the latter which fee is higher. The driver who drove us to the scenic spot of Shahrisabz does not speak English and didn't introduce or provide any tourist information during the ride. Our car (BYD) is good modern and cozy. After arriving at the main attraction of the trip which is beautiful, there was a English speaking guide.

The guide didn’t speak 1 word English, he had to use google translate and even then he didn’t know much about the history etc What a waste of time Ensure your guide speaks English otherwise do not book this tour

The climate was extremely hot and the AC in the car was very bad. The driver switched off the AC many times. If the trip started in the afternoon and ended by sunset it would have been better as the days are very very hot and we were boiling inside the car. The driver was a very good man and he was very courteous. Only issue is that he doesn't speak English.

The whole "tour" consists in a Russian speaking taxi driver coming to pick you up from your hotel and driving you to Shahrisabz. You can find something WAY cheaper just stopping a taxi driver in Samarkand by yourself. We were supposed to have a tour in English and all we got was this old guy who did not understand a word. Avoid this!

The service offered is just a driver. He could give some basic instructions in English. The drive took about 2 hours one way, went through a beautiful landscape, and included some interesting photo stops. The sights in Shahrisabz are not as spectacular as at other places in Uzbekistan but still worth seeing. For me, it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip before my flight back to Europe the next day.
