Reiseverlauf

Very well organized and salwa was most interesting and informative a full day of various temples and interesting facts and surprises.
Beautiful Luxor and beautiful experience accompanied by the guide who made the experience even more performing with information and storie.avebdo finished the tour before the return flight we were also made to stay at the hotel to rest. Salwa precious and attentive guide.
Half a day tour dashur, Memphis and Sakarra with Guide Sayed Mahmod and driver Said. A s a female solo travellor, felt safe with these gentleman.
The communication before the tour and the beginning, there was some miscommunication between the company and the guide but after it was solved, everything was great!!! Salwa was our guide, her explanation was very informative and although our flight was 2 hours late, she arranged the tour so that we went to all of the sites on our itineary. If the communication between the company had been improved (which is totally not the fault of Salwa), I would've given a 5. Tour guide by Salwa is more than 5:)
It was very badly organised. We were at Cairo airport at six am and nobody was there to receive us. We struggled for hour to find guide. Few people tried to help us and taxi drivers are surrounded to take us for tour. After one hour guide appeared with phone in his hand and then we went. We have seen few places and lunch and our tour finished at 3.30 pm. Our flight was booked for 10pm . There were two flights to Luxor at 6pm and 8pm. We reached hotel at midnight. E-Mo had let us down . It was very badly organised trip and there is no communication. I am sorry but it was a bad experience.
The flight from Cairo to Luxor was arranged by Emo tours and very straightforward. They pick you up from your hotel to airport, and then airport to hotel when you return to Cairo. Upon arrival to Luxor an Emo tours rep meets you at the airport. That's when I met Salwa who was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. She helps you with bartering, doesn't pressure you, has an amazing fund of knowledge, and is so so kind. She's the Egyptian mother you need. As a solo female traveler, I would recommend her over and over and over again. And as to the Temples, Museum, and Valley of the kings, it's nothing like you'll ever see in the world. Definitely worth the trip.

What can I say! This was the most remarkable day! From start to finish we were looked after and entertained by Afifi our tour guide and Hassan our incredible driver (think rally/stock car racer 😂). I honestly cannot recommend this pair highly enough. Afifi’s knowledge of all things Egypt is second to none. Hassan’s knowledge of the roads is unbelievable! It was a day we will never forget, made all the more memorable by Afifi and Hassan.
I am so lucky to have taken this one-on-one tour with Salwa. She was truly an expert on Egyptian history and demonstrated by our extensive talks. Salwa was also very kind and open. The tour went at my pace and I didn’t feel rushed. I also liked how I didn’t feel pressured to by anything. I told Salwa what I wanted to buy and she recommended a few places. It was nice having a private guide who new the line between advocating for the client (me) while keeping a working relationship with her people. These private tours have changed how I travel moving forward.

Was really looking forward to this trip. It was an early start (3am) from our hotel in Luxor and we were in Cairo by 09:30. We headed straight to the pyramids which were amazing. We think the tour guide could have prepared himself better and maybe bought our tickets the day before (bring from the area), but he didn’t and it meant we had to wait until he did. We could have also had more time at the pyramids, let’s face it, it’s the main attraction and as the afternoon was fairly free. We also visited the Egyptian Museum, which was worth a visit. The afternoon our guide took us to some local markets which were really nice to see (this was instead of the church we were meant to be visiting) again, could have done some prep and worked out it was going to be closed beforehand. The tour seemed very disorganised to us and we felt that it could have been planned much better, not sure if this was down to the guide or the operator, but the guy was a nice guy and could see he was clearly struggling with the effects of observing Ramadan. Oh yes, lunch was included and wasn’t great! But it was amazing to finally see the pyramids!
