Picked up from Alexandria cruise terminal by our driver. He drove us safely into Cairo to meet our guide in Giza.We visited Giza pyramids, museum and Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Amir was very knowledgeable. My husband and myself enjoyed our private tour with locals and local restaurant with lunch. We were safely driven back to cruise terminal at the end of the day.
Awesome day trip to Cairo. Bilal was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to spend the day with. Adapted the tour to fit our interests. 5-star!
We just did the Cairo tour w Mummies Tour Co. . From the minute we booked this through Viator, the company was immediately communicative. They accommodated our request for Amir as our guide. We heard so many good things about him. Amir exceeded our expectations. Both him and our driver, Salah, communicated with us the night before our tour through WhatsApp. Salah arrived early and let us know where he was to meet him just outside the port. He drove (through chaotic traffic) with precision to meet Amir in Giza. Amir is wonderful and an absolute delight to spend the day with. Since it was just two of us, he catered to our schedule perfectly. We saw everything we wanted to see. He was very informative giving us a great history lesson around the pyramids and sphinx. He guided us towards the best of Cairo. Explained when to avoid certain situations, how to tip, etc. As a native, he is very informed. He took us to the papyrus paper store and to a great restaurant for a shawarma lunch. We cannot thank him enough for making this a very easy going and memorable day in Cairo. He was the perfect guide. And thank you to Salah - the best expert driver Egypt has to offer! Thank you!!!!
My tour experience was great, the drive there was peaceful and yet intriguing to see the cities daily operations. The tour guide was very nice. He was very knowledgeable on the history and gave great insight to the history of the pyramids. The excursion is just as it says in the description.
We can recommend Amir and Sala of Mummies Tour Co. Here's why--while waiting for our driver in front of our cruise ship, Amir called to ask to go to a different gate and then we would find our driver, Salah. He asked what we were wearing so that when we passed thru the gate into a very busy part of Alexandria Salah would spot us. He walked us to his car and off we went for a 2.5hr drive to Cairo's Giza. Salah spoke little English but boy could he drive expertly and quietly through the busy traffic! Amir was waiting for us. A kind patient man with us two mid to late 70's people. He was careful to point out steps, uneven footing, etc. His knowledge of the pyramids and the sphinx was satisfying and sometimes humorous. He was very happy taking fun photos of us with the pyramids. He took us to an art store to watch papyrus get made. After this we went to a restaurant in Cairo famous for its Shawarmas. They were outstanding! Plus, we enjoyed our social visit with these 2 fellows.

We had Mohammed as our guide. He met us at giza and gave a detailed explanation of giza. The driver who took us from alexandria port was able to weave through the traffic to different locations in Cairo.

We were so happy with Mummies Tour. Starting from Day 1 after booking before the tour, the company answered all our questions. One day before the tour, he confirmed with us for the meeting point. On the tour day, he confirmed with us to make sure we were picked up. This company was so organized. We started our tour day with Amir ( our tour guide ) and Salah ( driver ). They were so professional. Amir was very detailed in explaining everything. Salah was so careful and skillful in driving. The drivers in Egypt were very crazy in driving. They just followed their own rules. So we were very happy with this tour. Will definitely recommend this tour!
The arrangement from car, driver Ahmad and our tour guide Bellel ( sorry for spell name ) was fantastic. We have visited the places exactly what is in our itinerary and our tour guide is knowledgeable with the history of Egypt. I will highly recommend this tour.
