Beginnen Sie Ihre Tour mit der morgendlichen Abholung um 8:00 Uhr von Ihrem Apartment/Hotel in Nairobi. Betreten Sie bei der Ankunft den Wald und beginnen Sie Ihr Wander- oder Radfahrerlebnis. Ihr Reiseleiter erklärt Ihnen die verschiedenen Baum- und Vogelarten sowie die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geräusche des Parks. Besuchen Sie die Wasserfälle, die Höhlen und sehen Sie sich die Uferlandschaft an. Es gibt genügend Wanderwege mit herrlichen Landschaften zum Staunen. Die Wege sind zwischen 15, 10 und 5 Kilometer lang. Der Wald verfügt auch über einen 12 Kilometer langen Radweg. Die Rad- und Wanderwege führen Sie durch grüne Waldgebiete, zu Wasserfällen, Höhlen und Bächen. Die Wege sind deutlich markiert und nach Länge farblich gekennzeichnet. Im Park gibt es zahlreiche Picknickbänke, auf denen Sie sich hinsetzen und abkühlen können. Im Reservat gibt es auch viele interessante Gebiete, sowohl historisch als auch ökologisch. Wir machen auch eine Pause für Mittagessen und Erfrischungen und fahren danach zurück nach Nairobi, um die Gäste abzusetzen.

As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed my guided tour through Karura Forest, which was made even better by our guide, Lawrence. He did an excellent job pointing out details in nature that I would have easily missed on my own, from indigenous plants to subtle wildlife signs, and he explained everything in a clear, engaging way.
