Tagestour durch das KZ Terezin ab Prag

Half a day visiting Terezin concentration camp. Pick up point is easy to find, our guide Peter was good however a bit monotone and there was a bit of overload of information. This tour should be a day not half a day, as we felt like we were running around and older people struggled to follow. Furthermore, the tour starts at 12:15 there wasnt any food breaks/coffee break until 16:45 which makes no sense for a tour starting at that time. Also, there was no free time for people to also walk around a bit, have a look at souvenir shops.. The guide in the camp itself though was great and still glad I went, but think the organisation of the day needs to be rearranged ie leave earlier like 10 oclock for example. The camp itself is very impressive and defo a must see when in Prague.

A good tour if you have an extra day in Prague. Our tour was a mix of approx 20% Spanish and 80% English speaking peoples and Spanish dominated the guides descriptions of the various sites. Didn't seem balanced.

We booked the tour online with Prague Sightseeing Tours and everything went smoothly. We took the tour on July 12th, 2026. This is a tour for people interested in history and in learning more about the Nazi occupation in the Czech Republic and the horrors endured by the Jewish and non-Arian population during that time. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable, and told us the history of all the places visited both in Terezin Concentration Camp and in the city itself. The tour took 6 hours and we will never forget it.

The tour was excellent. We were very fortunate to have Peter as our guide as he was a wealth of Knowledge.

Our guide spoke from his heart and gave us an honest, objective, realistic, and historically accurate explanation of the history of the holocaust, Terezin and the personal stories from which he experienced. It was fantastic!

Peter, our guide was excellent filled with emotion about all the happenings in the concentration camp and crematorium. Would highly recommend this experience to everyone. Just beware there’s a lot of walking and if it’s hot, you need plenty of water.

As a Holocaust educator this was a place I wanted to visit. Guide was good. My only negative was that the sound system on the bus was not very good and it was very hard to understand the guide.

If you’re a history buff-particularly WWII- then this excursion is a MUST! Terezín is not discussed in history books, but it had an important place in Czech history. Our guide was unbelievably knowledgeable! She discussed history for the entire hour trip to Terezín and the trip back to Prague. The only negative: there wasn’t enough time! I wanted to explore the camp longer (read the information about the children and watch the video reel) for sure!
