Tagesausflug zum Angeln in Koh Samui

Great day out, fish were on the small side but plentiful. Skipper and especially his helper were very attentive and great fun to be around.

This is not a trip for experienced fishermen. There were 3 boats all with about 16 on board. We headed out and trolled past the reefs on the way out. One of our rods went off and instead of the deckie handing it to a passenger he proceeded to bring the fish in. We then progressed out to the first anchor spot along with the other two boats. I think we landed about 5 fish. The biggest being 125mm. all three boats moved around in a reasonably small area before we headed off to anchor for lunch. It was shallow water and some on the other boats went for a swim. The lunch was lovely with chicken, fish and prawns, rice and salad with watermelon for dessert. Cola and water were available all day. After lunch all three boats went to other areas, all very close to each other. I think we may be landed about 15 tiny fish all day. We trolled back in again but had no takes. It appears to me the operator has the boats going to the same areas, probably nearly every day. No wonder there are no fish, particularly when everything over 100mm seems to be kept. Rods and reels are Ok but spooled with mono and not braid. As I said not a trip for experienced anglers

I am a 19 year old sport fisherman, on holiday with family and have been on the excursion alone. Very nice guidance and felt really good immediately! Everything was possible even through the heavy rains we stayed dry! Was a very nice day and also nice catches made.

Due to promotionpictures expectations with regards to various fishtypes and sizes was far to be met. Caught a bucket of same two fishtypes weigt from 40 to 300 grams. Could easily fit in a private mideum saltwater aquarium. Staff and pichup from hotell was great, nice tasty lunch made on sea. Perhaps the trip should be advertised for families with small children, or people totally new into fishing.

The photos you see on advertisement are missleading and most of them uploaded by tour organizer. We cought only small fish size 10cm which you should normally return to the sea, but I guess they were good for frying at the end. It was even so little fish that our entire group decided to go home earlier. The type of fish is that you catch from a beach with piece of bread. It is simply too expensive for what you get, total waste of money. Our tour guide was very nice, professional and very helpful, was doing everything to help us, thanks to him.

Had a great time, thanks to the guides. Caught some fish, had some laughs and got to keep some fish for dinner that night. Worth getting in.

It wasn't what real anglers understand fishing to be. No live baits as promised on the website. Ancient fishing equipment with broken lines. They arrived half an hour late but still drove back on time.

Excellent day out fishing in the sea on traditional Thai boat while enjoying nice sea breeze on the water and escaping day heat. Tour went well from begging till the end. Fish was biting most time. Not too big fish, but it was plenty for a meal which was cooked on board. Not only fish we caught but prawns, chicken, salad, fried rice.

The tour was great, the sea was unfortunately very choppy, but tablets against seasickness were given out beforehand. The crew was helpful and even a layman would be able to fish. Unfortunately we only caught small fish... The food was actually prepared on board and tasted good.

Nothing memorable a complete waste of time and money they wanted to keep any fish caught( not many anyway ) even when too small to be worth keeping size of a goldfish! Do not waste your money!
