Laure gave us a wonderful day. My wife and I were experiencing this type of excursion for the first time, and Laure was able to share her passion and knowledge of wines with us. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather as well.
My husband and I spent a truly beautiful day with an amazing tour guide Laure Juvet as she led us through three different tours and tastings in the Sancerre region. The morning started with a convenient pick up at our hotel and as we set off Laure described the background and history of the vineyards and region. We stopped in the vineyards as she explained the process from planting to harvesting before the wine-making begins. It was a special treat. What really stood out was Laure’s personal connection to the owners and employees in each place and their obvious trust in her. She knows everything there is to know and is a great teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed the various wines throughout the day. It was a highlight of our trip to the France wine country. We highly recommend this day tour with Laure! You’ll be very happy if you do! Thank you Laure for a wonderful day.
Laure was a wonderful tour guide through this region. Her knowledge and expertise about the process of making wine was incredible and she was friendly and attentive to the guests and the community of which she supports and lives. Merci Beaucoup!
We had an incredible day with Laure. She picked up our party of 4 at 930am at our hotel in Sancerre. We spent morning seeing vineyards, learning about wine making and visiting an amazing vineyard, we had a lovely private lunch which Laure had arranged, and then visited 3 more vineyards in the afternoon. We tasted over 20 incredible wines. Laure has a passion for wine and helped us understand flavors, food pairings, etc. She also recommended a great wine suitcase to help us bring wine home. Overall the day was a 11 out of 10. It exceeded our expectations!
Excellent! We had a great time, very educational. We really enjoyed, our guide was fantastic - would recommend to anyone who loves wine!
We had the most wonderful day with Laure as our guide in Sancerre and Pouilly. Laure was incredibly informative and engaging - we learned so much about the region, the wines, and the winemaking process. The day was perfectly balanced with plenty of time to enjoy each stop at a leisurely pace. Lunch was absolutely delicious - prebared by Babette and Nicole in a charming spot right on the Loire. The range of wines we tasted throughout the day was fantastic. We finished the day with a delightful goat cheese tasting which was the perfect way to end such an enjoyable experience. We highly recommend booking a wine tour with Laure - it is a must for anyone visiting Sancerre.
Our guide, Laure, is extremely knowledgeable about the Sancerre area, and she helped introduce us to a more in-depth understanding of the terroir and winemaking in the region. She helped introduce us to a winemaker we had specifically asked to visit, and we had a great day overall. Highly recommended.
This was such an incredible experience. Our guide, Laura, was so knowledgeable and really put so much into making sure we all had a wonderful time. We went to several wineries in Sancerre, tasted local goat cheeses in the vineyards, and she took us to the most darling lunch spot that was off the beaten path. If you want to experience the wine culture in Sancerre, this is the excursion you need to book!
Very nice day, Laure is an excellent guide, she took us to good cellars and a nice little restaurant, "Chez Babette".
We did a half day group tour and our guide Laure was very knowledgeable and great. I recommend.
