Nachdem wir einen Reiseleiter in Ihrem Hotel in Kyoto getroffen haben, nehmen wir am Bahnhof Kyoto einen Zug nach Nara.
Der Nara-Park ist einer der berühmtesten Bereiche der Stadt Nara. Das riesige Gebiet erstreckt sich über 660 Hektar und ist für seine freilaufenden Hirsche und weltberühmten Tempel bekannt. Sie können spezielle Cracker kaufen und die Hirsche füttern.
Das 25 Meter hohe Bauwerk stellt eines der größten Tempeltore Japans dar. In dunklen Nischen zu beiden Seiten des Tores stehen Wächterkönige.
Todaiji ist einer der berühmtesten und historisch bedeutendsten Tempel Japans. Der Tempel wurde 752 als Haupttempel aller buddhistischen Tempel Japans erbaut und erlangte so große Bedeutung.
Kasuga Taisha gilt als einer der heiligsten Schreine in ganz Japan. Als Ort, an dem zahlreiche Götter verehrt werden, zieht er sowohl Einheimische als auch Touristen an, die ein ikonisches Shinto-Erlebnis suchen.
Isuien Garden ist ein wunderschöner japanischer Garten in Nara. Es ist bekannt für seine Shakkei-Technik, bei der sich die umgebende Naturlandschaft einschließlich des Berges Wakakusa nahtlos in die Gartengestaltung einfügt. Dieser Garten schließt jeden Dienstag, also fahren wir zu verschiedenen Orten, wenn Sie diese Tour am Dienstag buchen.

When tourists go visiting a country and choose a private tour guide to a city with great significance, the intent is to have insights, historical and cultural. Our tour lacked this completely. The guide was too new to the place to offer any insights. What the tour company missed completely is understanding what tourists like us expect from a private guided tour and selecting the right guide. Deeply disappointing. If I could figure out how to get to Nara and back by train, I wouldn’t need the tour at all. I don’t know what the tour company was thinking.

Our tour guide Akiko Okada made the day trip to Nara full of history, culture and a beautiful experience for my husband and I. We did not want it to end. She went above and beyond to share her knowledge with us and make us feel comfortable and engaged. We had several tours over the last 10 days and none were like this one. Jun was an amazing guide, extremely friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time walking the temples, feeding the deer, and even made an additional stop to help me find a souvenir for my family. Everything was well organized, but flexible to our wants and pace.

Nara was a beautiful place and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He took us to a great ramen spot and even made a quick stop at Fushimi Inari Shrine for us.

Such a lovely day trip. We were staying in Kyoto and Fumi picked us up at our hotel, guided us through the train station, and ensured we were comfortable. Conversation was very nice! Fumi was a joy to spend the day with. Seeing the deer was so special and Fumi had lots of great info to share with us. She took lots of great photos of us with our phones too! She took us to an excellent restaurant for lunch, and when we were tired from a busy week, she was so gracious to quickly adjust our schedule and ensure we made it back comfortably. We had never done a private tour guide before this trip but now, this will be a requirement when visiting new places! Highly recommend!!
