We were picked up in Hurghada at 3:45 AM and then drove to Luxor. Our German tour guide Mina joined us in Luxor around 8:30 AM. Despite the long journey, the tour was very pleasant due to his exciting and informative manner. We were particularly impressed by his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history. He explained the sights in a very understandable, interesting way, with plenty of background information. It was immediately apparent that he possesses a lot of experience and expertise. This made the temples and historical sites even more impressive. The tour guide was also friendly, organized, and answered questions in detail. Overall, it was a very successful trip that we would gladly recommend. We returned to our hotel safely around 6:30 PM.

I booked a one-day trip with Hurghada Ausflug to shoot professional videos in Luxor. The departure was scheduled for 5:00 AM. I waited for two hours, in the dark and in the cold. No one showed up. No message, no call from them whatsoever. We finally managed to reach them: they had simply cancelled the tour because they didn’t have enough participants. And of course, they didn’t even bother to inform me. I later spoke with an other agent who gave me a completely different story: that no English-speaking interpreter was available, even though I didn’t need an interpreter at all. Since I was flying out the next morning, I couldn’t reschedule and therefore couldn’t complete my project. This negligence and lack of professionalism cost me the price of my flight ticket, the hotel night, and months of preparation — on top of the USD 211.69 I paid in advance for a tour that never happened.
We tried multiple times to contact the guest directly—by phone and using the available contact information. These attempts were unsuccessful, as the guest was not reachable. The booking itself was not made directly with Hurghada Ausflug, but through the Tripadvisor platform. As soon as it was clear that the tour could not take place, we immediately informed Tripadvisor of the cancellation, so that the guest could be notified. The amount paid in advance for the day tour was fully refunded. From Hurghada Ausflug’s perspective, the guest therefore incurred no financial loss. Furthermore, the guest did not contact us directly as the provider, although we were always available for questions or clarifications.

It was a great experience in Luxor. Everything worked out. We were picked up punctually from the hotel with a new SUV and and brought back again. In Luxor, Mina Ezzat then joined. A trained Egyptologist who speaks very good German. In addition, it is very nice and funny, so that time flies. Can only be recommended!
My work colleague contacted us from Mina. We were picked up at 4am in Marsa Alam and were in Luxor at 9.30am. First we visited the Valley of the Kings. Mina showed us 3 beautiful graves. Afterwards we visited a stonemason and were able to see the art of the different stones here. Afterwards we visited the temple of Ramses. After the delicious lunch we are by boat across the Nile and on to the temple Karnak. The driver took us back to the hotel afterwards. It was very impressive, a very great and exhausting day. There were two of us on the road and we had booked a Nile cruise. This went a total of 7 days with various excursions. Our German speaking tour guide "Mina" was very accommodating. He took care of the entire organization on the ground. We have been well informed at all times. The explanation on the spot at the excursion destinations themselves, he presented playfully well. We can only thank you for this great week.
Lots of information and a good initiation for the kids and us into the ancient history of Egypt. On our third trip to Egypt, it was worth the 2 X 4 hours drive from Soma Bay to learn more about the egypt culture and heritage.
Mina made our day! It was a great and very informed tour that took us back in time to the Pharaohs. Our numerous questions have been answered with a lot of expertise and we are now rich in knowledge with the real impressions of a fascinating era. Thank you, my friend.
