Wie von The Daily Telegraph empfohlen; Machen Sie einen magischen Ausflug in die lykische Zivilisation vor langer Zeit in Tlos, die mit der mythologischen Figur des fliegenden Pferdes Pegasus bekannt ist. Wir werden unser Mittagessen in einem Restaurant einnehmen, das zwischen Bäumen und fließendem kaltem Wasser liegt. Später besuchen Sie Saklikent mit der größten Schlucht in dieser Region, wo Sie auf Wunsch in das eiskalte Wasser springen können. Die Wanderung durch die Schlucht ist sehr zu empfehlen, oder Sie können sich entspannen und auf die speziellen hölzernen Pedestals warten, die in den Gewässern der versteckten Schlucht eingetaucht sind. Ein friedlicher, entspannender Tag.

Wir holen Sie zwischen 08:15-09:00 Uhr morgens mit dem Bus von Ihrem Hotel ab und unsere Tour beginnt.
Der Anblick des Saklıkent-Canyons, dem ersten Halt unserer Tour, wird Sie faszinieren. Worte reichen nicht aus, um dieses außergewöhnliche Naturphänomen zu beschreiben; Saklıkent schafft es sogar diejenigen zu verblüffen, die diesen Ort schon einmal besucht haben. Der 13 Kilometer lange Saklıkent-Canyon, der durch schmelzenden Schnee auf den Gipfeln des Akdağ und starken Regen über Tausende von Jahren entstanden ist, ist eigentlich eine relativ junge geologische Formation. Sie können so weit in den Canyon gehen, wie Sie sich trauen, oder sich auf den Plattformen am Flussufer zurücklehnen und die Aussicht genießen. Bitte tragen Sie vernünftige/bequeme Wanderschuhe. Nehmen Sie Ihre Badebekleidung und Handtücher mit. Wasserdichte Jacke (empfohlen in der Nebensaison)
Nach dem Saklıkent-Canyon-Abschnitt unserer Tour fahren wir nach einer kurzen Autofahrt zum Yaka-Dorf (Yakapark), um im Restaurant der Forellenfarm zu Mittag zu essen. Das Geräusch des eiskalten Wassers, das unter Baumwurzeln und Steinen fließt, und die kühle Atmosphäre dieses Ortes werden Sie von all dem Stress und den Problemen des modernen Lebens wegbringen. Nach unserer Mittagspause machen wir uns mit unseren Fahrzeugen auf den Weg nach Tlos.
In der antiken Region Lykien, die über die reichsten historischen, archäologischen und natürlichen Ressourcen der südwestlichen Türkei verfügt, ist es nicht schwer, auf Schritt und Tritt etwas Außergewöhnliches zu entdecken. An den südlichen Ausläufern des Akdağ (auch als Masisitus bekannt) liegt Tlos, eine der bis heute am besten erhaltenen antiken Siedlungen. Worte reichen nicht aus, um die Ruinen von Tlos zu beschreiben, die Mutter Natur mit Mitgefühl umarmt. Sie werden Pegasus und Chimäre auf dem Burgberg (Akropolis) kämpfen hören, erfahren, wie die alten Römer im römischen Badehospital geheilt wurden, im Stadion die Atmosphäre der Olympischen Spiele und Gladiatorenkämpfe spüren, im Theater die Geheimnisse der griechischen Schauspielkunst kennenlernen und auf dem alten Friedhof (Nekropolis) zwischen vielen verschiedenen Gräbern Menschen sehen. Sie werden die Gedanken hinter dem Wunsch verstehen, die Unendlichkeit zu erreichen.
Am Ende unserer Tour kommen wir gegen 17:00-18:00 Uhr in unserem Hotel an.

Mehmit tour guide was absolutly splended funny and full of great historical information. He even walked barefoot down the mountain as a ladies flip flop broke and he gave her his trainers! Our driver was also great! Please do go and visit here try book with this tour guide! The Saklikent Gorge was amazing def do this and if you are careful it ia pretty safe to take your fone but be aware you could slip in the water, wish I took mine. Next time a water saftey bag might be in my to pack list. The ladies making our pancake bread were friendly and hardworking! Lush day! Please tip where possible they all make such a nice day out for you.

The description did not share the needing of a swimsuit. Also the details for the day were reversed making 1 activity almost cancelled. Overall disappointment

We are also truly sorry for the change in the itinerary. The 9-day holiday in Turkey caused extreme crowding at the sites, forcing our guide to rearrange the schedule so you could still experience the activities. The only reason this didn’t get a 5 was lunch - fish was so overcooked only half of it came off the bone. Anyway - the trip was brilliant. Jesus the guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The trip was in a different order to the itinerary and was better for it. It meant we visited Tlos first (amazing) and then Saklikent in the afternoon - much better for those of us doing the rafting (only 500tl to get a large raft ring and paddle/spin down the river). Bring a towel and a change - there are changing rooms and stuff can be left on the bus. Also bring water shoes for the gorge walking - they can be bought there. Don’t wear sliders or crocs - they come off to easily and we saw several floating away! You can also do zip line for 500tl. All in all a highly recommended day out.

This was a good tour. Guide was excellent. Watch out for tic bites at Tlos as you are walking through long grass. I had to go to the hospital to get antibiotics to prevent Lyme disease.

First thing to say is do not book this tour through this page! Everyone else who booked direct paid €22 and Viator are charging more than double that which is unacceptable. The entrance fees are not included so I’m unsure what the added surplus is for, other than greed. The guide was lovely, so this review is purely on the logistics. Bus was way too hot on way back, no aircon, lunch was fine (nothing special!) but female toilets there unusable due to faeces all over the floor. Drinks not included, no activities included. It was a chilled and lovely day but I’ve walked away knowing we were totally ripped off. Don’t book this tour but definitely go to the places on it. Thank you to our guide.

Take surf shoes for walking down river into gorge (you can buy plastic ones there). The gorge is amazing 👏 You can walk most of it dry bed this time of year but first bit is a bit tricky walking down over the rocks into the river. Plenty of other things going on for extra, zipwire is a buzz or inflatable down river is great, but the walking is awesome 👌

Interesting visit to the ancient city but the highlight of the day was the walk along the gorge. Definitely needed wet shoes (which we had) and our tour guide insisted on us wearing hard hats too because of loose rocks. Loved walking through the water and scrambling up the rapids. We were left to walk at our own pace and the further upstream we got the less people there were. A unique experience that was worth the time travelling on the hot coach.

Very efficient tour with so much variety. At the gorge, we paid to go ‘rafting’ (it’s more ‘tubing with a paddle’ and it’s on the river after it leaves the gorge) which was great fun! Recommend it! The gorge is amazing. Take water shoes or walking sandals if you have them. Lunch was in a hillside local restaurant where they farm trout. Choose trout from the menu if you like fish at all. Lovely lunch no matter what you order. Tlos ruins are not spectacular compared to some but the history there is amazing. Not too hot in October either. Good value for money trip. Just remember to take cash for entrance fees (for rafting you can use a card/phone). Shout out to our guide Emre for incessant happiness! 😁
