Jahrhundert zurückversetzt. Nach 1h30 Fahrt zum Minarett Hassan Tower, neben den Ruinen einer unvollendeten Moschee. Der Bau der Moschee und des Minerals begann im 12. Jahrhundert während der Herrschaft des Almohadenherrschers Yacoub al-Mansour. Der Turm ist 44 Meter hoch und weist komplizierte dekorative Details wie Kalligraphie und geometrische Muster auf.
Das Große Islamische Mausoleum in Rabat wurde 1961 bis 1971 nach dem Tod von König Mohammed V. 1961 erbaut. Das Mausoleum wurde von dem vietnamesischen Architekten Nguyen Viet Thu entworfen, und der Bau wurde von marokkanischen Handwerkern und Handwerkern ausgeführt. Die Gräber bestehen aus weißem Onyx und befinden sich unter einer großen Kuppel.
Nach 15 Minuten erreichen wir einen großen Palast, der 1864 während der Herrschaft von Sultan Mohammed IV. erbaut wurde und die offizielle Residenz des Königs von Marokko ist. Wir begeben uns zur Challa Fortess, die 2012 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe zählt und Rabats beliebteste Touristenattraktion ist. Hier befinden sich sowohl römische Ruinen als auch eine mittelalterliche muslimische Nekropole.
In 5 Minuten erreichen Sie eine historische Festung aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, die aus Sandstein gebaut und mit Bastionen, Toren und Türmen verstärkt ist. Sie umgeben die Altstadt von Rabat und Besucher können an ihnen entlang spazieren und die Aussicht auf Medina und die Umgebung genießen.
UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe An der Mündung des Flusses Abu Regrag erhebt es sich und verbirgt eine ereignisreiche Geschichte. Es ist ein Gebiet, das Touristen und Besucher anzieht und zu einer wunderschönen archäologischen Stätte in Rabat gemacht hat.

Er verfügt über einen zentralen reflektierenden Pool, Orangenbäume, Blumenbeete, Springbrunnen, Pavillons, Pergolen sowie kunstvolle Fliesenarbeiten und Tore, die alle für den andalusischen Gartenstil charakteristisch sind. PS: Der Garten ist freitags geschlossen.

Gerne können Sie eine Mahlzeit genießen, einen Kaffee trinken oder einfach nur entspannen und die Atmosphäre im Marina Salé genießen. Das Mittagessen kostet in der Regel zwischen 10 € und 20 €, je nach Ihren Vorlieben.

I was picked up from the Hyatt Hotel in Casablanca right on time. There was another solo lady passenger on the van which was nice. We were then met in Rabat by our tour guide, a very knowledgeable man. He provided us with tons of information about Rabat. The capital city tour exceeded my expectations. Rabat is absolutely a beautiful town. The day trip from Casablanca is a must! We were taken to the Kings Palace, The Ancient City of Sala, The Gardens, Hassan Mosque and the Moroccan Santorini. We walked through the narrow streets lined with white houses and then got to the end to see where the river meets the ocean. Absolutely stunning!!! At the end we got to experience a true Beautiful Moroccan restaurant called Dar Naji.

The tour was great and Rabat is a beautiful city. I just don't think there was enough time at each spot, from our perspective it didn't need to be that rushed since is not a long trip from Casablanca. Maybe if the tour was 8 hours long it would be perfect. Also, once we started we were told we were gonna have the option of free time in the Casbah or in the Medina, but the guide and driver took us directly to have lunch in the beach without asking us. Since we were a small group, we were able to go back to the Medina after insisting. Overall, I recommend the tour if you are running out of time, but I think these improvements could be useful.

We booked this tour to include hotel pickup. Unfortunately, the tour company did not show up on time, so when I message the company they stated I was supposed to meet at a pick up point. No where in my confirmation does it state anything about a pick up point. It does confirm pick up at my hotel. I even confirmed through WhatsApp they had the correct pick up hotel a few days before the tour. They did eventually pick us up at our hotel, but 45 min late. Rest of the tour was good and we did have a good tour guide. Just frustrating when everything is confirmed and the tour doesn’t start off smoothly.
